Dire you know your stuff. Google says Eastwood house I'm looking at is 22min away (17mi). Let's assume thats actually 40-45min with traffic. If I do Montrose, that's an hour each way every day. Not sure I can stomach that
Chicken, I'm 31 and single. That's why I'm leaning away from Seabrook/Clearlake now
Ultimentally understand that you'll mostly be in your bubble. If you got friends in Houston and your weekends are catching college football games at a bar. You are not going to want to be drive 20 miles to west alabama ice house
If you don't really have ties to Houston, then you can do that in clear lake. However, i find the commute stuff overrated to some degree. It is closer sure but it is Baton Rouge traffic where sit at light for 3 cycles.
Hours at the job really matter cause plant traffic gets bad after 4. If you can bounce before then it is not so bad. I say that but i switched jobs partly because of the commute to the ship channel but mostly money
if you were in your 20s, no doubt live in Houston.
