Same here. The older I get the more peaceful I get. Mellowing with age.

And to a lesser extent, what kind of irresponsible idiot gets into a road rage conflict with a pregnant woman on board?

Yet another pitbull attacking others. When will we remove ourselves from these crazy animals?
The driver of the dead girl's car shares some blame here, imo...
Sad story. I'm glad the baby is okay, feel awful about the mom.
Y'all tell your youngins to assume every a-hole driver is packing- petty road rage shenanigans aren't worth dying for.
Oh, and fry the grown arse MAN that should, at his age, known better.

Investigators believe West and another vehicle — a Ford Expedition carrying the 17-year-old victim and two others — were tailgating and brake-checking each other before West fired a shot into the SUV.
Am I an a-hole for thinking the driver of her vehicle has some culpability for getting into a road rage back and forth that got her killed?
Admittedly, I've had a couple tailgating/brake checking incidents in my years driving but realized you never know who you're fricking with in another vehicle. You may draw a psycho like this guy who shoots into your car

Im curious to know who the driver was to her.

Let’s see if he has the same look when he spends the rest of his pathetic life in prison.
Posted on 8/25/25 at 8:58 pm to DrrTiger
High probability that he says someone used the N-word in the altercation.

I thought teens didn’t have sex anymore

Absolutely not. The 50YO driver is- you’d hope- mature enough to not do something so rash, immature, and irresponsible as blindly firing at another vehicle. He deserves whatever he gets.
But the driver whose passenger was the 17YO is absolutely culpable for escalating and participating in the event.
Glad the baby survived the initial incident. Hope he/she is adopted and has a legit shot at a happy life.

Sure he’s a male, but not a man

Same. I've never road raged, but I was definitely less tolerable of idiot drivers. It's simply not worth it.
If I finally buy that Tesla X before the end of next month, that SOB is gonna drive me around and I won't give a shite.
Hell, this sad thread might have actually convinced me.
Poor baby, I hope he/she has a strong family to help raise them.

From FB. Typical example of trying to justify what happened

Wow this crazy but the people in the car with the 17 year old cause this to happen as well

My initial thought.
Who participates in a road rage incident with a pregnant 17 year old in the vehicle.

I don’t Think anyone of sound mind is trying to justify what happened. But the blame isn’t solely on the shooter. The person driving the 17YO has culpability as well. If the story told is accurate, both drivers were fricking around. Like it or not, the driver of the deceased has some ownership in this too.
At least based on what’s been reported.

Brake checking is a whole lot different than firing a gun into a car.

Wonder if this guy worked for Smitty and was not in right mind

Apparently the teen girl died.
The baby was born at 3 lbs 11 oz.
My own daughter was tiny and she was almost twice this size.
I would cut this guy's head off with a pairing knife and sleep well.
