In fairness, if your standard for seasoning is putting honey, jelly and hot sauce on the same piece of chicken - that's a hard bar to clear

Not a fried pig ear sandwich.

We own the fried-chicken narrative,” said Nicole Taylor, who is black and the executive food editor at the website Thrillist. “Black people are turning it into a political moment.”
This is bigger than having a black president

where did this nonsense about only black people being able to cook fried chicken come from?
its not being able to cook, its black people believe white people under season food
which is a pretty common sentiment among people from LA compared to other areas of the country
This idea is what makes the main idea of the article dumb and irrelevant. Popeye's chicken sandwich has less taste than Cane's chicken. There is zero seasoning. Please don't bring up the nastyass mayo sauce. I'm talking about the actual chicken. It's ridiculously under-seasoned. It's bland.

Ok Todd Graves. Canes needs to back out of this with their ever shrinking tender size and miraculously missing tender from “The Box”. And take your nasty mayo and ketchup concoction with you.

We had a country store near us growing up that had a restaurant that served plate lunches, burgers, sandwiches, and had a ribeye special at night. Big ol black lady named Lucille was the cook.
Best damn food ever. An ambulance always sat in the parking lot waiting on calls cause it was a rural area and we always joked that was for the impending heart attacks that food causes

It’s in the marinade and there is seasoning in the flour but nothing like Popeye’s. Whoever said this is ridiculous.

Who the frick doesn’t love delicious fried chicken? Why did fried chicken get determined as black food? I love fried chicken, watermelon, and smothered greens and I’m whiter than MIT Romney. frick off with this shite
Truth. The love of fried chicken has no color. I'm as white a Powder. One white guy standing in line with twenty black folks for a $4.99 five-piece dark (2 legs & 3 thighs) and a bag of tots so greasy you can read a newspaper through the bag.

I know numerous white Baptist women that will cook circles around them. They'd love nothing more than a cook off.

Anyone know if Popeyes has addressed the broken credit card machine issues that have popped up since the new chicken sandwich was relaunched?
