Well, it simply depends upon exactly where you live in Covington and exactly where you plan to move in Praireville. It also depends upon your daily departure times to and from.
We lived in Mandeville and commented to BR 2 or 3 times a week. We would leave at 5:15 and drive just over an hour. At that time, we'd leave BR between 2:30 and 2:45 pm. The drive time was the same, just over an hour. We now live in Madisonville (Ponchy is close). The morning drive now takes about 55 mins. However, we now leave after 3 PM. That is important. Something horrific happens to the BR traffic after 3 pm. I believe Satan is in control. Some days it takes 90 mins to get to Madisonville. It's usually just a BR thing, but Hammond causes problems 2 or 3 times a month.
I work with people who drive from Praireville to BR and back. I hear them bitching about 45 min drive times (not every day).
It could be bad either way you look at it. Good luck.
