Nothing better than Popeyes to cure a hangover and expel the demons. I can wait 30 minutes when I can’t feel my toes

I ate at KFC pretty often until prices went out of control a few years ago. Their chicken tenders were the best in the business and their biscuits were second only to McDonalds.

I e never tasted KFC in my life. I remember that bucket of chicken when I was a kid though. We had a Jim Dandy that we would get a box from before we hit the lake.

Old school KFC (I’m talking 30 years ago) when they made everything in house was delicious.
It went to shite quick when ownership moved from PepsiCo to Yum/Tricon Global. They’ve been closing them left and right here in Louisville. I want to say at least three within a 10 mile radius here has closed and I can’t say I had visited either one in the last 15 years.
Taco Bell alone is floating Yum Brands these days.

Everybody is fricking up orders these days.
Order $135 worth of stuff and pick it up. Everything is stapled as frick so I ask if everything is there instead of having to rip everything open to check. They say yes.
So I get home..

I used to eat KFC because you used to be able to order a la carte chicken on their app but now they don't offer it so no reason to eat chicken that doesn't taste as good, especially if you can't also get red beans and rice.

Is it really fair to compare CFA to KFC and Popeyes as a chicken chain? They're not really the same thing at all. Also, put me down for not understanding the hype for CFA. I like their chicken egg and cheese biscuit and the chicken sandwich is good, but I don't understand waiting in line for it. And as they expand their locations, the customer service isn't all that great anymore, either.
