Ridiculous. If you can’t bear leaving your pet at home, then fricking stay home.
This is why cats are awesome. They rarely give a shite when you're gone.
You can also be sure that they won't fricking freak out and destroy your house because someone knocked on your front door or rang your doorbell.

My almost 11 year old English Bulldog gets attention wherever she goes. She's a 75 pound bundle of people-loving happiness. She definitely tries to get people's attention and loves kids especially.

I’ve had dogs my entire life and I have never once considered taking them out in public, except normal dog places like parks.
Never a restaurant, brewery, coffee shop, Lowes’s, etc.
