‘You’re Being a B*tch’: Teen Gets Mouthy with Deputy, Calls Dad After Allegedly Speeding in Mustang
quote:

Video shows a Pinal County Sheriff’s deputy pulling over a teen for allegedly speeding through a construction zone on an Arizona highway. The teen, who was not identified, told Deputy Frank Sloup he was “being a b*tch” and proceeded to call his dad in hopes of being bailed out of the situation.

Just watch the first 60 seconds of this video and you'll see what a spoiled brat this teenager is. When did America become like this?

The cop showed incredible restraint.

Oh, and that teen needs a serious "Come to Jesus moment" with dad.

“Affluenza” idiots like this are the ones where no one really cares if Officer Cartman breaks a nightstick over their head.

I blame Willy Nelson for this

We need more cowboys, not less

Same can be said for farmers, teachers, and other less heralded professions that are the backbone of historic Merica!

When parents refused to adapt their parenting styles to a rapidly changing culture.

I strongly believe that raising adolescents and teens today requires a different style than how most parents were raised themselves. It doesn't mean the way they were raised is wrong but the influences and culture today requires a shift in parenting style and if that shift doesnt occur, than society raises the child, not the parent.

There is a reason that adolescence now lasts to the age of 24 and too many teenagers (18+) walking around today are as socially, intellectually and morally developed as there parents may have been as a pre-teen.

Kid was 19 yrs old and a legal adult.
He was lucky he didn’t end up in jail with his car towed.

Not in this instance but I watched a few other videos with that Officer Frank and olin my opinion he's a dick, has a real smart mouth. Just write the ticket and move on, no need for a lecture.

I'm not that old (37) and at 19, this shite would have been my problem. I was paying for my own car, insurance, etc.

Parents aren't ok watching their children fail sometimes. Every abrasive situation this kid has been in throughout his entire life he knows he has a safety net behind him and his actions are reflected by that.

It's never too early to teach failure and that actions have consequences. Let them fail, let it hurt, they will thank you for it.

I don’t see the reason why the cop would pull the kid over. Seems like he picked him because it’s a blue Mustang. He wasn’t going faster than anyone else on the road. Kid was right, cop was acting like a bitch.

Actually, maybe if parents got over themselves and accepted a role as an authority figure and guide rather than trying to be “besties” and cool dad/mom throughout their kid’s life, rules might mean a little more.

Also, when you have a modern society who preaches that laws are always flexible and morality is “shades of gray”, you can expect teenagers to follow suit. They’re co fused enough already at that age without seeing that the entire adult world is even more confusing.

This. The teen is clearly wrong and has a bad attitude, but I don’t like the way the deputy is playing up for the camera. He does a great job keeping things under control, but he’s very condescending and a little too aware of the “show” he’s making with the stop that will go on Youtube.
