This thread tells me there are still some true believers (of what the government and MSM are feeding them). Everyone who disagrees is just a dumb redneck who ignores the science.

This reminds me of last week when my buddy sent an article explaining how Peru was having success with ivermectin against covid, then i went to Peru's covid page and their "official" numbers have an over 8% mortality rate.
Also the fact that India passed out ivermectin to its citizens and encouraged it and they have over 4 million excess deaths means it definitely isnt curing covid at a significant rate.
Everyone should be free to take it if they choose to. I only took tylenol when I got covid and was better in no time.
Another thing that makes it difficult to judge if ivermectin is helping us most of the times it is recommended with 3-10 other things to take with it

Yes because it is great for infections from parasites which are a big deal in the 3rd world, but it's antiviral properties are just theoretical at this point.
Doctors prescribe “off-label” meds 1000s of times a day. Ask yourself why this one use-case is being blocked.

raises hand. i caught a bad case of the 'vid last year and kroger and walgreens refused to honor my ivermectin script because..reasons...and finally publix; where shopping is a pleasure..said 'yes sir, but it won't be here for 2 days' and i was starting to go downhill by the time i got it. started taking it immediately and i'm 100% convinced i would have ended up on a ventilator had i not.
my blood oxygen was below 90 and woke up one morning with no feeling in my feet (hot shower for 30 minutes massaging them) but then i slowly started to get better.
publix saved my life or at least headed off the direction i was going. the time i lost fricking around with the commies at the kroger & walgreens pharmacies nearly did me in.
so tl;dr but you can't tell me ivermectin didn't play a role in changing the trajectory of the virus in my system.
frick THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE OF MEDICAL CARE IN THE US. They willingly let petty politics kill hundreds of thousands of people. i shouldn't be surprised as this is the same group of people who wants to third trimester babies out of women's wombs.

India used ivermectin, US blocked it.
India - Cases: 37.1M Deaths: 486K
USA - Cases: 65.5M Deaths: 850K
as of 1/16/22
India 0.01309 death rate using Ivermectin and passing it out to citizens
USA 0.012977 death rate not using Ivermectin
And those are just recorded cases. India has over 4 million excess deaths.
To me those numbers show that ivermectin does not make a significant impact on covid mortality. Also I think that people should be allowed to take it and prescribe it if they want to.
Also lol @ whoever is criticizing the US government handling of covid and then downvoting this post of facts because it goes against their belief in ivermectin being a miracle cure.

I dunno. How good is India's health care system? It seems unlikely that it would be as good as ours yet their death rate is very close to ours.

That's why 3rd world country like India created an OTC ivermectin pak and killed covid.
The fricktards here think this thing is real though...

According to Drs Malone and McCullough, it's a half a million people.
Why would anyone trust ANYTHING the fricking gov't tells them? It's insanity.

This journal has a hella quick turnaround. Would make me question things, especially with the journal’s model and post-publication “review” metrics.

So why would healthcare systems matter for this comparison?

Another poorly designed Observational study rather than an RCT study.
Ohh, its published in Cureus where you and I can "peer review" articles. :rotflmao:

How I know Ivermectin 100% works:
The "official stance" is ban it, suppress info on it, turn in and threaten doctors and pharmacists for attempting to use it.
INSTEAD OF, allowing it to be widely distributed and used and then having TONS of evidence that it doesn't work and med community and people stop using it organically.
ETA: this is a drug that has ZERO negative affects otherwise, so taking it is akin to drinking water if it's ineffective.
