People that go on vacations just to do the same stuff they do at home?

All the LSU in Austin threads got me thinking. It seems the biggest interests are what bars to go to, where do Louisiana people gather, where’s some good Cajun food.....
How bout exploring a new city? Drive down and tube the Guadeloupe, kayak through downtown, tour the capital, check out some Texas history museams, hike the Barton Creek trail, check out beautiful Lake Travis, or many of the other fun things to discover.
Nope....tell me what bars to go to and where I can hang out with Louisiana people. Hope everyone enjoys the game, but good heavens, open your mind a little bit.

When I go on vacation, I admit that I always cut the lawn at the hotel I’m staying at.

The majority of people have never left a small radius from their hometown aside from maybe college. I find this is more true of LA natives than many others, but it’s like they’re scared to try new things, meet new people, gain new knowledge, and actually expand the mind. It’s baffling to me.
Before the negativity spews, this is not true of every single person from Louisiana. But a very large portion. Look me in the eye and tell me you don’t have family or friends who fit the bill.

God forbid we let other people do the things that they enjoy.
Plus, if 2 days in Austin is your vacation maybe you need to open the mind a tad.

And I clean out the garage. Hate staying at those places with a parking garage. I never get to enjoy my vacation.
