Most of the food anywhere else in the world is bland and boring. It's done that way on purpose. Out of all of the places I've eaten out of town, maybe 5% of them have good food. Good food puts people in a good mood

Thinking your home state is the only place in the world with good food is some next level living in a bubble shite

Just checking, but what back home (assuming anywhere in LA) is better than "OK" of any of those listed activities to do in the Austin area?

This really has nothing to do with my response. I was suggesting that those who don't go off to tour Austin aren't missing much. It sounds as if you were offended by my post. But I would say that millions of tourists from all over the globe find something in New Orleans that is better than OK. Chartering a fishing trip out of Shell Beach or Hopedale where you're almost guaranteed your limit of trout is better than OK. But, much of Louisiana is less than OK.

No, it's not. My taste buds have developed a liking for flavourful foods, while most other people in this country just eat bland stuff for every meal. I have relatives who can't tolerate most of the food here. It is incredibly frustrating, because people in other cities rate all restaurants above 4 stars unless they got sick

Why are you so worried about how other people choose to use their vacation time?

Stop eating at shite restaurants.

My dude, spices aren’t an exclusive rare artifact to this region. You’re just picking shite places to eat or have a shite pallet if you honestly believe that.

Sometimes I like to mix it up and sometimes I like the familiar get away. No skin off my nose if others do what makes them happy as they see fit. Pretty sure it has zero impact on you as well. Thanks for your concern though.

Some people really aren't into food. I'm kind of like that.

I prefer to cook or have a picnic to eating out.

Now if you had said the mid-west, I guess you could have a point.

Since the dawn of time, apparently the Boudreaux’s and Thibodeaux’s of the world are the only ones who figured out how to make good food :lol.

i feel really bad for somebody who takes a legit vacation to Austin

Austin is a place that has a culture and vibe but you need to live there to enjoy it. it's a shite vacation spot

Going to a different city for an LSU game and wanting it to feel like a home game is far different from doing the same things on a vacation.

i agree, however the people i enjoy 10x more are those not from LA who use Tony's to season food and then deny it's Tony's

i had a chef in Rhode Island once tell me it was his own seasoning
