He actually doesn't. He's all for legally filming in gyms that allow it, he just demands that you be respectful and don't make fun of others.

Like another said, I’ll film a few swings at the driving range when something is off because I can’t see my swing. I don’t film my whole round of golf and post it on social media

How do you know they are posting it on social media?

Those are the ones that are in there for 3-4 hours too. Let me do my 45 minutes and I'm out of there.

Narcissism is a personality style or trait set marked by a grandiose sense of self-importance, a constant need for admiration.

Also often incorrectly assigned to people that are simply insecure and seeking validation

don’t think that’s it at all. Otherwise just film a set or two.

I guess it’s for the gram then.

My wife has a coach that reviews her form on some lifts but like you said, she only does it for a set or two. And she absolutely refuses to use a tripod and even places the phone inconspicuously so no one else sees it so she’s not grouped into that population

My gym is filled with damn tripods. Even the truly obese people are filming themselves. It's ridiculous.

Used a remote coach for a while and they wanted form videos all the time. I didn’t like recording myself and dropped the coach.

I have resorted to downvoting anything you post without even reading it. Makes me feel pretty good…

I absolutely ripped some a-hole at the gym last week for this. I borrowed a plate from their rack and walked through their camera’s view. She was sitting at the time and not paying attention to it. I didn’t see it.

I get the plate and I hear her say to her bf “what the hell is that guy’s problem?”

I guess I was having a rough day and pressed her on it.

Her bf kind of gave me the “hey man I know I know, I’ll handle it with her” look and I made nice and went on my way.

Look, I get the fitness ‘influencer’ in superb shape or the personal trainer doing it for advertisement type stuff. That’s just the world we live in and if that’s their profession then go for it.

I don’t get the OT 4 with a tripod set up next to her filming her entire workout. Also the average looking 30something skinny guy doing the same.

Help me understand this OT fam?

I'm sure if you were at the gym to work out you wouldn't even notice this, or at least it wouldn't really bother you since you were focused on your own workout.

You seem like the guy that every woman in the gyn see staring at them every time they look up. I'm sure they would agree that it's really creepy.

How does this even work effectively? The work from home generation is killing our country.

eeehhhh, the more important question is: what are these people doing on their phones at the gym at zero five thirty in the morning…
