Reason I gave up my LSU season tickets. Never bothered me when I was younger. The crowds started giving me sensory overload I guess is the best way to describe it. I would just break out in cold sweats and my vision would be blurry and heart racing. It was weird. I’ve had a few since then that seem to happen when I’m driving. Mild compared to the ones I described.

The societal normalization of alcohol is really something to behold.
This guy is so hungover in the airport he calls it a panic attack.
When in actuality, he drank so much he experienced extreme alcohol-induced anxiety in an airport. And doesn’t seem to implicate the alcohol at all.
Pathetic. Get your act together people.
If u can’t moderate w 1-2 drinks max, then don’t drink.

Substance induced.
Stop drinking.
Yeap, hangxiety. I learned this later than I should have. But drinking over time will raise your baseline cortisol levels. The stress hormone.

The worst experience of my life, literally the walls close in on you and an elephant is on your chest. You don’t no whether it’s a heart attack or panic attack m, it’s very confusing

Exactly. You could say he overdosed or had a bad trip, but alcohol is different to the drunks. In the end, stop doing what creates bad outcomes.

Try having a panic attack in open water on a lake.
Not fun!

Had one while relaxing at home and just watching TV. Went to the Er because I had no clue what was going on. Nothing to really trigger it either

The first time I had one I honestly thought I was having a heart attack and I think that made things even worse, but then two days later I had another one... But because I knew what it was I didn't have the moment of panic. This was years ago.. 15+ years ago.. And since then I might have had 1 or 2 mild ones. They are the worst.

Maybe you should stop drinking before you know you're getting on a plane.

I only usually drink on the weekends. I hate hangovers and hangxiety so got on low dose Klonopin for sundays. Been doing it for years and it’s a miracle

I’m very hungover and my anxiety during hangovers is typically high.
So...don't get into the situation of being hungover.
You know it increases your risk...have it happen...and come on here to tell us about it?

Hey my doc wants me to switch to buspiron - what’s your thoughts on it? Side affects? And is it effective?
