Any of y'all remember the bug and space whirl rides at Ponchartrain beach?

Can't forget about Schwegmann's.

RIP Harry.

Friend,

Time Saver and shopping with Mother for school clothes at Goldberg’s.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

P.S. TulaneLSU's Top 10 fondest memories of New Orleans off the top of my head:

10. Riding over the Mississippi River on a bridge before that incident on the Huey P on the way to Mosca's.

9. Paying Mr. Roy to sing a song at Impastato's. The outcome was not what I desired.

8. Going to Time Saver to redeem Halloween Icee coupons.

7. Going with Mother to Potpourri in Lakeside Shopping Center

6. Uncle bringing us to Kenner Seafood for the first time.

5. Becoming an RTA streetcar conductor on the finest line in America.

4. A week on the water with Captain Mike from Bucktown

3. Visiting some of the best highrises in the South in New Orleans East

2. Riding with my best friend, the Algiers Ferry

1. Eating at The Napoleon House after my first unicycle ride

Honorable Mention:

Christmas adventures with you and Mother

Born in 69.

K&B
Mckenzies
Pontchartrain Beach
A ton of small restaurants and neighborhood joints

I don't even recognize NOLA anymore. What is it? It's like a theme park for yankees.

The huge Santa on the front of Sears on Baronne. I remember my parents driving down Canal Street and trying to see that huge Santa in the next block, especially when it was lit up at night.
