Whichever fanbase loses this series will take it very well and have a very levelheaded and nuanced reaction to the loss
when it comes to this place you should be more concerned with the fanbase that wins

Soooo why exactly did the media hate Lane for taking a top 5 job?

IT WAS HOW HE DID IT!!!!! :gasp:

Does JJ just want more $ regardless or does he want more NIL support?

The only thing he should care about when it comes to players is overall money spent on the roster, I dont know why he would care where it is coming from and I doubt he does
422K people donating $10 much less $10 a month doesn't seem unrealistic at all. should be able to wrap this up in a week

maybe we should raise the bar a little higher, 500K?
You also have to keep in mind that a near $2mill price tag is a very niche market in this state. I would venture to say that it is probably even more niche in that area. It is possible to. It is possible to overbuild and outprice your market area

So it’s reasonable to expect a pretty extensive listing time
I think those short arse walls contribute just as much as the 10ft shorter down the line dimensions

Everyone did a damn good job covering up lanes issues when he was here because it was for the good of the program

Man that seems pretty low for an athletic department to sink. Seems like a school that did that would not be able to cast many stones when it comes to coaches. They have probably been pretty quiet during the process I would imagine so as not to be completely hypocritical. probably kept a low profile
You can have a conference champion without a conference championship game

and to answer your question, $$$$, in particular TV revenue.

The championship games became a creation for modern TV revenue and exposure. The SEC has existed far longer without a conference championship game and If conferences can find a we to keep that revenue stream on that weekend without a championship game, they will

LSU has a very tough schedule this year.
I keep seeing people saying this

But it is really not more difficult than it was last year to any signficant degree

Last year you played 3 playoff teams, as well as Vandy who just missed out. 4 teams that finished in the top 15 and 3 of those games were on the rd. This year you are probably looking at playing another 3-4 playoff teams, but its likely 3 of those games (A&M, Bama, Texas) will be at home. You get clemson at home this year instead of on the rd, you have ole miss on the rd but you had them on the rd last year. Replace #15 vandy from last year with TN this year and south carolina with Kentucky and hat leads me to believe Kiffin is essentially playing with the same deck of cards Kelly was in 2025

Maybe replace the conference championship weekend of games with playoff play-in games? Maybe they have to wait until the playoff inevitably expands before they can do that

At least this way we do not have to worry about the teams at the top of the conference hurting their standing
Superbad is probably an objectively better movie

But American Pie was the peak of teen angst movies probaly when that genre was most in its prime.

I think Amercian Pie also does a better job of hitting that particular age market than superbad. Superbad was always much more adult comedy to me in the same sense of the Hangover movies
I think it does a great job at humanizing Jesus and bringing that aspect of his being to light

I think as a child you grow up hearing about how Jesus was both fully man and fully divine, but when you learn and hear the stories you picture him more towards that divine nature, Almost like a flawless holy robot that only preached and performed miracles

This show does a good job of making Jesus more relatable to the normal person with normal human emotions and normal human nature, which if we are to believe he was fully human, is important. So the show shines a spotlight more on his human nature which is something we know little about but must assume is present. I think it is beneficial in that sense even if it does take some liberties
OOT remake doesn't need much for me, I enjoy the linearity and progression of it

Update the graphics, menus, and combat mechanics, maybe make some of the puzzles solvable in multiple ways (Like breath of the wild).. Leave the map the same but maybe add a section (more dungeons) with some original music with a similar OOT vibe, maybe an additional in depth side quest or 2 that isn't just a fetch quest

Something to prolong the experience a few more hours

I started my first play through with Odyssey and it’s been a blast
I remember absolutely loving the first few hours of this game but it just got too monotonous after a while. Kinda of a common thing I suppose.

I also really love the setting, wish more games had the ancient greek/roman settings

You know kids can still do all these, right?
yeah???
In law school, they cut me off from the wifi network because I was downloading songs off of limewire/frostwire illegally
When I was in school and you needed to call someone, you would just go to the office and use their phone, when you were really young they would call for you

Payphones were still prominent at gas stations, parks, and retail areas though

Game Boy had nothing on the Game Gear
Gamegear chewed up batteries at like 10 times the rate of the gameboy

Hard to call it portable when it always had to be plugged in lol
Only time i have ever seen one is on retro video game channels on youtube

My first gaming device was the original game boy. That big brick grey one that wrecked batteries
