I lived around the corner from Mr. Kotterman when he lived on Constance a block from Whole Foods. He used to give out mini sticks of candy on Halloween Night. Kept the mule in a barn on the side of the house.

Yep, it was near the Baptist Seminary on Gentilly Blvd. on the lake side of the street. I went to a few of the midnight showings of RHPS and after that headed over to Richards next to the liquor store and ice house for half a bird and fries to anchor me to the bed.

When I think of that place on Veterans (I believe) with the old airplane, I tend to pair those memories with memories of Sharky's Reef. I believe Sharky's turned into The Beach Teen Club, a thoroughly stupid establishment that somehow (well, I know how ) made money catering to the mid-1990s Metairie B-Rad demographic.

PB as you said. I also loved going to the Supreme Court building at 400 Royal during MG. Kids could run around until the parade came. No worries.

Lots of great places in this thread. I miss The Warehouse the most. Was able to get in there the last few years it was open but what a cool venue it was. Also liked hitting The Spanish Gallion in Fat City and 4141; lots of hot women getting down to the disco.......music sucked but the women made it worth going.

I use to call 4141 "Phony One, Phony One". The few times I went to that place opened my eyes to just how far some guys would go to try to impress women.
I'd see guys spending what was probably half or more of their weekly pay buying drinks for women with hopes of bedding one of them down.
Back in the day when Backgammon, bumper pool and Foosball were the thing.
