Oh good more crippling restrictions for something that is clearly on the downward in the city and canceling more large events at “the urging” (re: threat) of the Mayor.
quote:
Tidwell said that the French Quarter Festival has not made an announcement about a cancellation, but he said city leaders did think that the organizers of the Jazz Fest and the Red Dress Run made the correct decisions in canceling their events.
“We would encourage the French Quarter Festival organizers to look very closely at the situation,” he said. “Anything we do now affects what happens next. For us to get out of this in any kind of way, people have to start making very smart decisions with an emphasis on safety.”
Tidwell also made it clear that as of right now, people attending Saints games will be expected to wear a mask.
“The city-wide mask mandate is in effect. The Dome is in the city. Anybody at the dome is expected to wear a mask, regardless of whether other changes are made.”
Tidwell said the city is also considering increasing restrictions as COVID cases continue to increase. Tidwell said an announcement could come as soon as this week,”
He said the city continues to have conversations with the health department leaders in the city and more restrictions are likely.

But I was told about 15 minutes ago that it's not cities and governments doing this.

I wish Tidwell, Avegno and Teedy all jumped from the same tall building.

Non-vaccinated restrictions are coming.....

I wish the city approached violent crime safety with half as much vigor as they approach covid safety.

Good. I just need one more reason to never go back to that shite hole again.

They laid the foundation here for some further ridiculous restrictions coming soon.
I would expect a curfew/bar closing early to come back at the least.
I also expect restaurant capacity restrictions.

I'd take drainage and street infrastructure at this point.

Can't lock up potential voters.

Needs to go after her own voting base since they’re the ones lagging in getting vaxxed. Won’t ever happen and whites will continue to get blamed.

I’d be surprised. Most of the unvaxxed in NOLA are her base.
It’s easier to implement restrictions on businesses like bars and restaurants the effects whites and does zero.

Your first mistake was ever thinking these retards cared about what's actually happening to drive their decisions. .

Way down.
But they just ignore that because no journalists cover that and all people here are “cases”.

To them increase doesn't mean the number of cases reported each day gets larger. It means there are any cases at all causing the total amount of cases since the beginning to go up. 10 cases would be "cases increasing" to them.
