But Nola has the highest vaccination rate and the most beds available. Why?

yea. that's my biggest complaint with Latoya. her entire covid mandate has been arbitrary. if she actually used math to justify her choices I could *maybe* understand

but they're just making it up as they go along

Well in fairness, she's an idiot.

wish the city approached violent crime safety with half as much vigor as they approach covid safety.

That’s because it’s law abiding citizens who they are enforcing these on. You know, people that generally follow the rules.

Her base supports restrictions that “look good” but actually do nothing. She polls really well in NoLA on this. “KWEEN KEEPIN US SAFE”.

I went to Finn McCool's last night and I didn't see a mask in sight except the workers. People are done with this shite.

No, that's because Glassman mandated no masks since he owns the place.

Same thing at most the bars I go to uptown.

I’m sure the bars are going to get hammered in her increasing restrictions.

For us to get out of this in any kind of way,

They always preface their actions with this phrase, or something like this phrase, not realizing that nothing they do - masks, lockdowns, pieces of acrylic hanging from the ceiling - is going to "get us out of this."

There is an old Buddy D story I recall hearing him say that went something like this.

Before you had the internet, physical message boards were a thing at grocery stores or some places of business. People would post random things such as listings for things for sale or rent.

So one day he was at Schwegmanns and he saw a Saints fan put his actual tickets on the board for someone to take, I believe the story was from when the team was really bad. So, a few days later he goes to the same store and the next thing you know it was full of Saints tickets that no one wanted and no one was taking.
