And yet it’s happened time and time again in these situations. Essentially every review site has a policy against reviews without personal experiences. So when someone gets a flash mob of 1 stars like this, the owner will dispute, and the site will remove all but perhaps an initial one on the topic (ie if the person he tweeted to posts one it’ll stay but a thousand people witnessing the interaction will not)..

About a year ago I was dining at Laboca with my wife and another couple. Wait staff was good along with appetizers. We all ordered different cuts of meat for the main course, don't recall who ordered what. When I received my medium-rare steak, it was well done. The waiter agreed and took it back to the kitchen. A few minutes later owner dickhead walks out and berates me because that cut should be ordered rare. I told him I don't care what you recommend , It was well-done. The waiter apologized for owner dickhead and that was my last visit. Never once did the owner apologize for the over cooked steak.

This guy just sounds like an all around douche. Whether it was ordered rare or medium rare, his kitchen still over cooked it.
My son is a chef and I’ve asked him about some of the rumors you hear about chefs being insulted if you ask for steak sauce or want your steak cooked well done, etc. He said he gives zero fricks. The customer is the one paying for the meal. They are entitled to have it prepared as per their preference.

Yeah I thought that was going to kill fat boy pantry. Which was upsetting because they have the best Philly and they do a lobster poboy that is amazing.

I like he posted a pic of Kamara in there this week. The first real instagram post he has done in a while. I don't buy the racism crap there either. The owner is kind of a meathead at times, which explains the statement, but never seemed racist in any way.

I think a lot of people stepped away when he used his GoFundMe for vacationing in an AirBnB then came back only to take on the evil AirBnB. Then it was discovered he had an AirBnB that he advertised a room on.
