Now this IS a valid reason to root against Ole Miss. I’m just listening to the game, not watching it. And I read earlier in the week that our coaches were back home with us. Actually, we don’t have a “long history of meddling in S America”. Unless you want to talk about letting a hundred million illegals to come into our country from there… then, yes, you are correct. THAT hasn’t ended well at all… for US.

Other than that, then we really haven’t “meddled” all that much. Why do you think the cartels, Chinese, Iranians, Russians, etc… have such a foothold there. We’ve never challenged the sovereignty of those nations, and tried to be good neighbors through the years, with very few examples to the contrary.

A lot of the time it seems we’re too good for our own good… and we seem to err on the side of NOT being seen as conquerors - which we very easily could do if desired. What other nation in the world would show the restraint we do on the reg, if they possessed our power???? NONE.

Maybe this was a rescue operation made to look like a forced extradition???
