Yosemite goes without saying. Point Lobos was a wonderful side trip I took years ago.
Glad I did that one.

This was our 2nd time there. We hiked close to 5 miles in total. I’d recommend going there for anyone heading to the general area. $10 for car entrance fees or park along Hwy 1 for free.

Louisiana is my home state, but I visited family in the South Cumberland Mountain Range in Tennessee, and it’s really pretty there. It isn’t what I was expecting.

My pics aren’t amazing, though, because we took them….

I'm in north Georgia on Lake Lanier right now. I don't want to come back home.

Wife and I are trying to figure out how to retire here.... don't see it happening

Wife and I have said that we want to retire somewhere along the 515 Corridor (Jasper-Ellijay-Blue Ridge), if not there, then the Summersville/Trenton area on the East side of Lookout Mountain.

@HonestTune Great picture.

But, you've got some serious chromatic aberration going on there.

Not a knock on your pics but if you learn to play around with "Darktable" you can do a lot.

It's a little daunting but plenty of youtube videos on how and it's free!

That was on the way to Rosedale. Technically Grosse Tete. Was bypassing the interstate to get to work.

All I know is I always buy snow rated all terrains, and it was rough going for a bit. 1/2 inch of ice is still just ice.
