How in the world can a vaccine developed in less than a year have had any, much less adequate, testing on issues of fertility and birth defects?

True but I doubt any vaccine or drug trial tests on pregnant women. That would be unethical.

I'd imagine that number is going to rise after the death of Hank Aaron a mere 16 days after he took the vaccine.

Same where I work. But that 50% includes all non medical staff workers. Basically the more educated you are, the more likely you are to get the vaccine

Well for one they’ve been developing this vaccine for almost 15 years. The fertility thing seems very baseless. When I asked one of my staff where they were getting that info she replied that “they” are trying to make us sterile lol

Based on a bullshite article

Because its too soon to know any long term effects, so any article claiming for or against is pure speculation.

Yes. I have a friend who got it twice. 12 weeks apart. The first time he was seriously sick. Close to being in the hospital. The second time was not as intense but still no cake walk

Did friend get tested for antibodies after first infection and before 2nd? Not all develop enough antibodies for immunity when ill (most do).

Also wondering did they verify positive tests second time around were positive for replicating virus or depending on when this happened if still using tests with cycle threshold of 40 did the results include the threshold since the replicating virus wasn’t being picked up going past 33. Including threshold wasn’t always happening even up thru summer. Tests were positive/negative without listing threshold on results or even storing cycle threshold elsewhere with some labs.

Some of the verified repeats i read about didn’t have antibody tests before the reinfection to know as not even sure they were out yet with a few i read about, but their reinfection was worse than initial infection which is different than your friend.

There are some great nurses out there but some really dumb ones too. I know one that was into essential oils and one who thought anything labelled "natural" had to be good for you. She was trying to market some colon cleansing product.

That is very telling

Outside of potential pregnancy risk, I don't see any downside.

I have heard this same thing from numerous people at different hospitals.

The problem is our dumbass Governor was holding-back vaccines until these workers accepted them and wasnt passing the extras on to the elderly.

Yes, I have an elderly friend (he's 88 and diabetic) and has asked his two doctors if he could get the vaccine, especially since one of his sons just tested positive.

His two doctors told him he had to wait. He said he's going to find him a doctor that will give the vaccine to him.

We've had antiviral vaccines for some time. They just add the appropriate spike protein. Why do you think they were able to get it out so quick? They didn't have to start from scratch.

Vaccination experts have said the COVID vaccine is safe and effective. The hospital groups believe workers across Louisiana have a host of reasons for not taking the vaccine, not necessarily a medical concern.

Just gonna leave this here and see the response.

Only 10 out of 4 million Americans who Moderna's COVID-19 suffered life-threatening anaphylactic allergic reactions to the shot, CDC reveals

- CDC investigated 1,266 reports of 'adverse events' after Moderna vaccinations

- 47 were ruled allergic reactions and just 10 were deemed anaphylaxis

- All 10 people recovered and only one had no history of allergies

I’m just going so leave this here:

Survival rate under 50 = 99.98

Seems reasonable for these people to wait for a drug that was developed via program Warp Speed.

Let the people at risk get it. It just seems selfish for a healthy person to get it before the elderly.

If I were a black person in this country, and knew about Tuskegee, there’s no way The Man is putting anything in my arm.
