There's your problem. The first message sent by Shaunta was a convoluted mess of contradiction. You’re dealing with a low IQ individual.

You need to get a copy of the HOA agreement your gf signed and see what it says about the guest parking spot

Night two, park in her driveway and have her park her car in the guest parking lot.

But she's a resident and residents aren't allowed to park there.

it is necessary for me to park in the neighborhood's guest parking lot whenever I come over, which is obviously quite often.

Why would you go and do something like that when you can just have the OT weigh in?

So, as a resident you cannot have family come stay with you for along weekend according to that HOA?

I would reply back to her with a letter saying if they touch your car you will sue the ever living frick out of that HOA and her personally. In those exact words.

document what she said, have a lawyer friend create a nice letter, make it look really official, and threaten them back.

If it says, no more than 2 consecutive days, then you have every right to stay 30 hours. Also, one of her neighbors is a serious d-bag, and doesn't like you.

This. The exact quote she gave was "no more than two consecutive days". The back and forth also proves that you've explained she was in error and she did not care (ie: she is using the rule in error to purposely punish you, your g/f or both). A good lawyer will inform her that a scenario like this can qualify as harassment and that having your car towed will end up being paid for by the HOA and could result in a lawsuit.

Considering the emails back and forth, if she's talking to a lawyer that's even half-assed they'll have her back down.

Sounds like you’re trying to regularly use guest parking as an extension of your GF’s driveway which is exactly what guest parking is not for.

You’re making your situation everyone else’s problem.

Unless you’d be ok with everyone else using the guest parking regularly and not leaving you a place to park?

The parking lot is a Guest Parking lot for Luxury Cars only.

You missed the small fine print.

ask for a copy of the bylaws and beat them at their own game.

Why on earth do you believe that Shauna has actually read the rules? I've beaten people with their own rulebook so many times I've lost count. I beat the state police twice for the same reason. No one ever reads the rules...

You can't park on the street?

INB4 that's trashy because having a HOA manager named Shaunta is pretty trashy

You’ve got to go the Shunta’s condo and take a shite on her baking rack. It’s the only solution.

Just do the old “I’m going to get my lawyer to counter sue you if you discriminate on me” game. Should work.

I would just reply back to Shaunta to meet in person to discuss the issue. People usually get off high horse in face to face meetings, and you can just say we are trying to abide by the guest rules (you don’t live there) and no harm, no foul.
