Jason St. Pierre is the one responsible for all the fantastic programs that WHS offers that trains students that may not be college material, in different fields so that they can become certified before graduating, and are able to get a job making good money without having to go to college, as soon as they graduate. HE also is responsible for the programs that allow students that are going to attend college to get trained and credits in the fields that they are going into. HE fought for the money to rebuild the amazing school we currently have! HE is the one that brought in the Papa John’s, the Nike store, the cookie shop, the PJ’s Coffee, and the neighbors credit union, for the students to enjoy and have access to during school hours. Also for students to actually get work experience in their field before they graduate. There are many other things that I have not mentioned. There are 2 sides to every story!!!

Weird. The HS I went to didn't need private business to profit to be able to offer decent meals.

theres no question he did a bunch of awesome things for that school. Students are able to graduate in a field and go straight to work in high paying jobs. Lots of other schools are now trying to follow what he started. However, he screwed up and needs to own it. Just like any of us would do in our job. If that means the school board lets him go than that is a result of HIS behavior. No one else's. Actions have consequences.

You mean like the part about him trying to ruin a student’s future because of his personal religious beliefs while working at a public school?

Is the OP willing to put their money where their mouth is...

St. Pierre and Becnel screwed up by the numbers and put not only themselves but the School Board and the Parish Government in deep kimchi..

As I've said in the other thread, they want to preach, go to a "Christian" Academy...

That's not a second side to the story; it's just a different story. All of that can be true, yet it doesn't change the fact that he used his religion as a bludgeon to bully a 17 year old girl and try to ruin her life over something comically trivial. frick him, and frick you.

If you’re a teacher there, then tell us the other side of the story.

My unpopular opinion of the day:

While I don't agree with what he did, it's discouraging to see his entire career overlooked by this one incident. I'm not familiar with the situation at Walker High enough to know if there have been other issues in them past, but it's not like he suggested sexual things to this girl. The moms desire for attention and drama played a small role in this also.
