12 hours 6 days a week? And you have friends who work much worse? I don't believe you.

And none of them are only making $560/month. That would be fricking illegal as shite here.

So you have friends working a turnaround job that will end at some point.

And they still work 12 hours less per week

It's not turnaround, its new construction. I never said it was the same but if that person doesn't like the balance, hours, pay....find a new job.

I have never worked anywhere that started at 9am, why start so late? Also how can you complain about a commute, you didn't have to choose a place 90 minutes from your job, or choose a job 90 minutes from your place of living.

But that 996 schedule for $560 a month is for the birds. Know your worth.

When were you born? Curious which generation hates millennials so much? Gen X? Boomer? Either way, you would be part if the generation that helped produce the Millennials.

Of course I've heard more than one Millennial complain about Millennials without realizing they were in fact one

I have a lot of friends that work comparable (or much worse) hours. Though their days tend to start very early.

The only people I know that work those hours are at investment banks or McKinsey and make absurd money. They also hate their lives.

All nice things to say if this was like Oklahoma where luxuries like that are cheap.

I do 556. Outside in Texas. Ping Ping can suck it.

So you work 72 hours in a 168 hour week...let's say 8 hours of sleep per night, so 56 more hours are gone...you're left with 40 hours of free time per week.

In other words, you're spending about 76% of your life either working or unconscious, and this is something to brag about?

I know quite a few people that their first job after college had them working 6 10s.

Hell, I am 30 and work 5 10s every week.

Are we talking 60 hours of actual work or 35 hours of work and 25 hours of bull shitting? I know there are quite a few people who love to talk about how much they work even though it's not all actual working when it comes down to it.
