by their very definitions, conservative people will conserve traditions (like the husband's name being taken) and liberals will push to change tradition (like hyphenating the two names)

mine wasn't hyphenated until 9/11. apparently some dumbass wrote my last name as part of my middle name by accident on my birth certificate and now im the only one in my family with a legally hyphenated last name. I have to pay to get the mistake fixed, but now i want to keep it to be diff
