Nobody outscores 2019 LSU period. That offense will always be the reason we'd prevail in these fantastical scenarios. Never say never, but you'll never see an offense and team record against the ranked opponents/conference champions/bowl winners we beat by an average of 20 points. Just cue up the greeny piece he put together on get up or whatever that sums it up rather succinctly.
After watching Shepard in that HS All American skills competition, I wouldn't have let him throw a pass either. I remember being in shock and quite frankly saddened as I watched the ducks fly. All that being said, incredible recruiter and gamer for the Tigers. And as I type this and remember being at the Tech game in 09, I indeed would have let Shepard throw it at least a bit. I remember the putrid performance from Jefferson and probably Lee. They finally put Shep in at QB and the place went crazy. Of course, all he did was run the wildcat and TS was back to full throated boos. I think we ended up pulling it out like 24-15 or some shite, but it was U G L Y, you ain't got no alibi. Damn, I miss Les Miles lol. Can't wait to see what Lane does with the place.
I haven't seen him in years. Grew up with his daughter and had many fascinating conversations throughout the years about sports/LSU/sportscenter days, etc. etc. He was always kind enough to entertain my inquiries as a youngster who loved sports. I'd just go into the den with him and watch ballgames and pepper him about anything and everything regarding sports and his career. Always good to me. And having him host the studio show for CBS/SEC football after initially being the GAMEDAY host, however briefly, was peak nostalgia for me. Also loved how he'd manage to get a mention of Shreveport or Captain Shreve in virtually every appearance/gig.

Dominate. The trash talking as well. Better put a brother on him holmes.
He very well have been hurt. But, he was fricked mentally and played scared. Remember, we were all hoping for a semblance at least of the jump both Burrow and Daniel's made from year 1 to 2. Injured or not, when that clearly wasn't going to happen, dude damn near went the Jarret Lee vs bama route. So, it was clearly a combination of the two. Injury and mentally. I mean, dude was slinging it his whole career. And then he suddenly can't lead the offense to more than 20 freaking points. Ever? Wish the best to the young man and feel for him for having to deal with injuries and Sloan and Kelly. But my God, am I ready for this new dynastic era to begin!
So when do I get my check? Will it be added to my tax refund? Or will it be doled out later before midterms? Paywall. Couldn't read the article. I could use an extra 350.
The figs of course. I think ole Miss is a given.
Not sure about billions, but I certainly believe there's been multiple extinctions of civilizations. Some we'll never find any shred of their existence. Floods, impacts, disease, aliens. Kidding about aliens. I think. Wouldn't be surprised however.
Senior year. Tickets fell through. Too poor. Simply could not believe LSU had won the freaking natty! Couldn't imagine them ever even finishing as high as #2 to even having opportunity to play for a National Championship. All my buddies from home who didn't get in watched at some joint in Jackson square. Never forget looking at my lifelong buddy and not quite believing we did it. Was it a dream? Certainly my greatest title as a fan. Walking over to Canal and greeting team bus arrival and then celebrating victory all night in New Orleans, Louisiana as National champs. Go ahead and get your tickets now for '27 season NC played in the dome. 4 year cycle in affect as well.

He was out on bail already?

Evidently they just kicked him out of the stadium. I saw him walking around in the parking lot after the game in just his drawers and a blanket lol. Who remembers Baseball Tonight playing that clip anytime a team went on an extended winning "streak"? I was watching one night like 10 years later and when that clip popped up, I nearly fell off the couch laughing my arse off. Amazing.

re: Lane can win with Van Buren

Lombardi couldn't win with Van Buren. Anthony Jennings would win more games than fricking Van Buren. Van Buren is a dog shite QB. Lane would win a natty with Josh Booty.
The Honey Badger is a once in a lifetime player. Should have been LSU's 2nd Heisman Trophy winner. shite, they should probably sculpt Mathieu here on out for the trophy. If that wasn't a Heisman season, I don't know what to tell you. The epitome of the honor. RGIII should have gave it up the moment he was announced. You'll never see another Mathieu.
4 is Mathieu based off one season. Have to give the nod to the 3 time All American Tommy Casanova.

Please help me figure out how to watch these championship games. Can't find it on app. Thanks
We need a kid who will be here for the next two years at least in order to have him primed in year 2 when we are penciled into the NC in New Orleans. I love Pop Houston from the e, but not confident enough for him to lead us to the dome as a true freshman. But, hey, I'm no lane Kiffin. He'll have a QB or 3.
Mr Wood ain't answering or telling me nothing either.
How bad did Karr beat the e?

Nevermind. Found it. 49-20. Sheesh. Certainly not the e of yesteryear, but we comin'!
Think I went 9-3, maybe 8-4. Mainly because I honestly thought there was no way a BK team was capable of winning week 1. Especially on the road vs the "vaunted" Clemson. Thought we'd lose to bama and maybe OU. Thought we'd beat ole Miss, a&m, and certainly Vanderbilt. It's alright though. 2027 season NC is in New Orleans. I can hold out a couple years for the 4 year cycle that has magically fallen in place once more. It's going to be a fun ride watching Kiffen get his 1st natty with the Bayou Bengals. Only question at this point for me, is who's going to be the QB. Houston will only be a true freshman. I'm sure Lane will have one lined up in the portal pretty quickly.

Maybe he stays out of prison if he goes to LSU. Never know

I'd dare say, that it would have been much more likely he goes to prison if he's in Baton Rouge. shite, he'd probably be in Angola right now.
Chinaman, you are the man! Thanks for putting that all together. Bravo sir! Much appreciated.

The day I learned that Gunner Kiel didn't have the chest!

Having Janzen Jackson lie to LSU coaches

Did us a solid on that one.
:raises hand: Simply too good to be true. Kiffin would absolutely kill it here, but unfortunately, I think we're just a pawn in Sexton's game. I pray to God we get him, but again, we're LSU and tend to get the shaft in these type situations. shite, we got lucky with Saban. Saban wasn't Saban until LSU. We made him as much as he made us. Miles managed to beat OU twice and somehow landed the job from Skip. I mean, he was the Cowboys TE coach a few years before that lol. And it was awesome. Until eventually it wasn't. Still won a natty, played for another, and if he wasn't so stubborn and completely broken after 1/9/12 and then failing to finish it off in '12, probably play for another couple. Then, you have the whole Herman, Jimbo, debacle where we got stuck with O. Who then proceeds to put together the greatest team of all time, winning himself a natty just like his 2 predecessors. But again, Lane to LSU is just too good to be true. And the fact that this is literally the hire to save our program from falling back into the dark ages, that makes me that much more worried if we don't pull it off. Plus, having to wait so long, he could literally change his mind every day. We just have to hope he's thinking LSU on the day it's done. Pray we get him, just not confident we'll pull it off. Especially with Landry showing his arse. Might be deciding factor. Who tf knows.

I'd have to go '12 vs bama. We had that game, should have won the game, and the entire trajectory of college football history for a decade or so was decided that night. If LSU/Miles pulls that game out, after the bullshite rematch NC the previous year, I think LSU/Miles could and would have competed for the title every year if Miles and LSU aren't broken completely and it takes a once in a lifetime talent and a core of hall of famers, especially at Wr, to be able to break the streak nearly a decade later.

I know, I know, he won't take another snap for LSU. But, if I were in a position to make it happen, I'd start Nuss. Van Buren fricking sucks too. Just need to run Berry and Durham all night and throw it up to Green. shite, put Johnson back there and run a bunch of read option out of the wildcat. Just whatever you do, Do Not throw it to Brown under any circumstance. That dude has surpassed Demetrius Hookfin as my most hated player. Ever. In any sport. Hate to say that about a rented tiger. But, my lord, that dude sucks.
My mother's name was Fran. We called her GranFran.
