I've only ever had it done by a woman but I probably need to get a dude to do it. My back is heavily muscled and I feel like the women aren't strong enough to do it right.

I get massages weekly. I have always had female therapists. I recently had a male and it is next level strength. So, to answer the question. Female for relaxing massages and male for deep tissue/ problem areas.
