For the record, this won't become a thing. But if it does, I'm on page 1. But it won't become a thing.

I think the hyper awareness post Covid will prevent this from being a widespread thing, but I think it's important to call out the medical "experts" who keep claiming to know with certainty what a mutating virus will do.

I thought it was a little odd when this first came out. Considering most were not related to each other this tracks unless those 7 people were having an orgy.

I doubt that anybody was thinking that there would be COVID lockdowns in January or even February 2020.

NBC trying to stir things up. Who would’ve thunk it? Frick NBC and the major networks.

Might go buy another 24pk of paper towels today when I go into town. Not getting caught up in the stupidity of last time.

Just stocked up on paper towels & TP. It was a great weekend to visit the (Sam's) Club

They honestly have no clue what’s going on and if the asymptomatic can now spread this then a lot more people have it than is currently known especially with the 10-40 day incubation period.

I hope that society as a whole has grown to be skeptical of any media outlet's unilateral characterization of someone as an "expert."

My dad and some of his old farming buddies used to have a joke about “experts”- an expert is just someone who drives more than hour to give a presentation where lunch is served afterwards.

Oh no! I'm so scared! lol.

They're so desperate for us to talk about anything other than Charlie's assassination or Israel's genocide and our involvement in mass murder they're bringing out aliens and a new virus.

You really seem to want this to be a thing.

Why?

The only place I really see fear of this is on this board. Seriously. It's quite sad.

Any expert with a take on this one has to show us what their take was on the last one.

There are literally zero claims and also zero evidence that this can be spread while asymptomatic

I’ve started getting extra canned good. The spaghetti sauce and tuna I got doesn’t expire till late 2028. I only got 2 of each. But I’ve started.

This shite mutates to spread easier and has a significant mortality rate of 30-40%, I’m selling all my investments and live in a bubble.

Found the ostrich with his head in the sand.

quote:

Hantavirus on cruise ship can spread human-to-human : NPRWhile Andes virus (ANDV) primarily spreads from rodents to humans, it is the only hantavirus known to cause limited human-to-human transmission, with evidence suggesting it can spread during the prodromal phase (before severe symptoms begin). While most infectiousness occurs during early symptoms, experts warn against assuming transmission only happens after clear symptoms arise.
