The REAL problem is the ghetto has expanded WELL beyond anything seen before. Especially in metros where the police aren't allowed to actually police. So when 2/3 of the area is considered a crime area, then that 1/3 is going to be super expensive. The need to subsidize the criminal elements has created a problem for anyone not wanting to live in a crime infested area.

I'm considering it. Not because I believe in global warming or whatever bs the Earth huggers believe. I want a Tesla because it's light years ahead of any other vehicle when it comes to actually being useful.
FSD: I'm usually my family's FSD. I wouldn't mind letting the car drive and take some stress off me. I'm not looking at making a robotaxi or creating a parking test for it, but driving on the road, it's great.
The distance thing isn't as concerning anymore. We are usually trying to stop after 2.5 hrs on the road anyway and by the time you plug in and juice up, you're done with the bathroom and stretched and have a snack. 15m isn't an incredibly long time and my legs swell if I don't take breaks to move around.The tesla charger network is pretty extensive and also allows you to monitor access before you get there.
Or I might hate it. I really wish there was a Toyota hybrid Camry that had this technology in it, but that's not where we are.

The biggest problem is the damned Birmingham airport is right in it's way.
I've taken I22 a LOT and it's amazing. Not a lot of traffic on it and speeds up getting to Memphis area significantly. It's also not finished on the Memphis side and it ends in what looks like Syria on a good day.
The worst part of our Interstate system is it was great before we doubled in population. Now it's woefully undersized. They really need to add 2+ lanes to most interstates and Most need 3 lanes at a minimum throughout the state.
I-20 is miserable driving on the 2 lane sections. Taking the interstate is rarely the most efficient way in any decent size city.

I'm not anti-data center. However We have 3 approved and they are trying to get 2 more approved in our county. We have plenty of commercial/industrial zones to put these businesses, but they don't want that. Nope, they're buying residential land next to homes to drop these right in the middle of them. Of course the county govt is paid off and in bed with them before it ever started.
Just put them in commercial zoned parks that are sitting empty and I don't have a problem. Same with the warehouses. Stop trying to drop them in residential areas and fill the industrial parks.

I hate having to use the iptvsmarters or any of the other shitty apps. I don't understand why they can't have just a plain http way of logging in instead of those laggy pieces of shite. FWIW, I gave up on IPTVs because I can't find one that doesn't infuriate me. The only thing I watch live are football games and most of the time I can find a youtube pirate for those that are light years better than iptv.

So you're considering moving because you heard the schools aren't great? I'll let you in on a little secret. None of the schools are great. They're all filled with degenerate kids who do drugs and get in fights and disrupt class. Even in the richest areas with the best scores, they still have that 30+% of complete shite birds who destroy any sort of decency. Some schools hide it better than others by only getting the smart kids to test and others don't care. But having your kid in ANY public school is a crap shoot where if you are able to get out with a decent education and alive without social problems, then it's a huge win.
You probably think that issue would go away paying over $1000/mth to a private school but it never goes away. You are always going to have bad kids doing things you don't want your kid exposed to.
In almost every case, successful educating starts at home and you get what you put into it. I wouldn't move on school rumors. You're going to hear the same thing in every district.

I haven't upgraded from the A7S2. I've been tempted occasionally, but I don't really use it much anymore. It's a PITA to lug it around unless I'm trying to get good video or something specific that I want a good lens for. Other than that I guess I'm just a lazy phone photographer anymore. I'm sure that will change with grand kids though.

Oh well. That reminds me of that Arkansas chase that ended as they tried to get back to Memphis. Ole boy just hopped the concrete barrier and fell 120' to his death. Unsure what he thought would happen but it ended on a good note.

I find that it's MUCH easier to get into full ketosis by fasting and going to ONE meal a day. You won't be able to over eat or push the limit if you do that and your body will work wonders with it. I feel so much better when I'm fasting 18 hrs and damn everything tastes so much better. After about 3 days of that you should be in full ketosis.

Mine will make all these plans and then back out the last minute. I get to where I don't even take it seriously. Even to the point of vacations. She'll talk about how much she wants to go somewhere and I'll let her plan it all and the night before she's like... I don't even want to go anywhere. Of course I make her go because everything is paid for. And with menopause it's just another thing you learn to deal with.
I don't even get upset at it anymore. The sexes are different. Always have been and always will be. Once you're with them long enough, they know you and you know them and things just are. There is plenty of crap she deals with for me as well.
