The biggest problem is the damned Birmingham airport is right in it's way.

I've taken I22 a LOT and it's amazing. Not a lot of traffic on it and speeds up getting to Memphis area significantly. It's also not finished on the Memphis side and it ends in what looks like Syria on a good day.

The worst part of our Interstate system is it was great before we doubled in population. Now it's woefully undersized. They really need to add 2+ lanes to most interstates and Most need 3 lanes at a minimum throughout the state.

I-20 is miserable driving on the 2 lane sections. Taking the interstate is rarely the most efficient way in any decent size city.

I'm not anti-data center. However We have 3 approved and they are trying to get 2 more approved in our county. We have plenty of commercial/industrial zones to put these businesses, but they don't want that. Nope, they're buying residential land next to homes to drop these right in the middle of them. Of course the county govt is paid off and in bed with them before it ever started.

Just put them in commercial zoned parks that are sitting empty and I don't have a problem. Same with the warehouses. Stop trying to drop them in residential areas and fill the industrial parks.

So you're considering moving because you heard the schools aren't great? I'll let you in on a little secret. None of the schools are great. They're all filled with degenerate kids who do drugs and get in fights and disrupt class. Even in the richest areas with the best scores, they still have that 30+% of complete shite birds who destroy any sort of decency. Some schools hide it better than others by only getting the smart kids to test and others don't care. But having your kid in ANY public school is a crap shoot where if you are able to get out with a decent education and alive without social problems, then it's a huge win.

You probably think that issue would go away paying over $1000/mth to a private school but it never goes away. You are always going to have bad kids doing things you don't want your kid exposed to.

In almost every case, successful educating starts at home and you get what you put into it. I wouldn't move on school rumors. You're going to hear the same thing in every district.

Those are who I normally watch. I used to watch BlueGabe, but something was off with his videos that I just didn't really like and I don't even know what it is. It might be the older ones that had his wife in them. I don't care for girl pimping videos for views.

Oh well. That reminds me of that Arkansas chase that ended as they tried to get back to Memphis. Ole boy just hopped the concrete barrier and fell 120' to his death. Unsure what he thought would happen but it ended on a good note.

Mine will make all these plans and then back out the last minute. I get to where I don't even take it seriously. Even to the point of vacations. She'll talk about how much she wants to go somewhere and I'll let her plan it all and the night before she's like... I don't even want to go anywhere. Of course I make her go because everything is paid for. And with menopause it's just another thing you learn to deal with.

I don't even get upset at it anymore. The sexes are different. Always have been and always will be. Once you're with them long enough, they know you and you know them and things just are. There is plenty of crap she deals with for me as well.

I would bet close to 40% of the population is on some sort of food program. Most don't even need it, but it's like disability now. Everyone gets it and also visits all the food pantries in the area as well. Then they either sell it or eat the hell out of it. I saw a dude in front of me in the grocery store that had a whole cart full of pork butts and ribs. I said to him, man I want to come and eat with you! He said you can come and buy it, I smoke it and sell plates. Of course he paid with his EBT card.

The govt needs to get out of the Paying for retail food business. Even worse were the EBT door dashes. It's all a complete scam. Put up tents and feed them Army type meals 3x a day. Make the people eating take turns working and cooking in the compound. If you want the govt to feed you, then you need to eat the govt's food. Not the people's food.

I've never seen it happen with my eyes. I did however go TAD to a USNS oiler to go fix their records and teach them (all women) how to do their jobs. At the time Women weren't allowed on combat vessels. I rode in a Helo to get there and took a bosun's chair between the ships when refueling to get back. I preferred the helo. I had to laugh when I went to get in the chair because above your head was a roll of toilet paper. Unsure why but my brain still remembers it.

They had much better chow on the USNS than the aircraft carrier. And those women? meh I called them oil cows.
