Why doesn’t he just steal the electricity from the working folks and distribute it to the welfare queens

I love when NYers tell us how tough they are. They are the biggest collection of spineless pussies on the planet. City Hall tells them how big their sodas can be Yes, Daddy. No BBQ grills allowed? Fine by us! Do you have a squirrel in your apartment? I'm so sorry, mein Fuhrer!
They'll watch a woman get violently attacked and not lift a finger. When Daniel Penny did intervene on the subway, they all stood by while he got prosecuted.

This happens in places with taxed grids, happens in Texas when severe cold hits where it is asked to be lowered. Not a big deal.

He was going to be "such a bad mayor" that this is the only thread I've seen bitching about one of his policies.

Because nobody knows em. We do know his solution to solve the budget was borrow from the state. We will see how that holds up. Trash has been an issue for another.

Not the point. Who is he to tell hardworking taxpayers how to live?

JBE used to tell La residents to do the same and we would just be like “lol no” and move on with our lives but since this is *New York* the politards will act like new yorkers have no choice and are stuck in covid Beijing.

Maybe we should just turn on the attic fan. Or the box fan in the window.

Or maybe just go sleep on the screen porch.

Sounds like he is trying to avoid any massive electrical outages. I don’t see much wrong with this message.

This is America comrade.
Don’t fricking tell me how to run my A/C or how much water I can use. I pay for what I use, so I’ll use however much I fricking feel like.

Ftr, science says the ideal sleeping temp for humans for deep sleep and brain health is in the mid 60s.

Yes, and I tried that and I ended up taking out the electric blanket and it was so cold. My face froze so I said screw it. I set it back on 72 and that’s plenty cold enough for me!
