You're just grasping at straws that maybe some lawyer could challenge it and win in court.
Have you even paid attention to the substance of successful settlements and civil trials over shite in the past 20 years?
That website is opinion, period. And their opinion means jack shite if a company is scared enough to settle and set the precedent for other companies, much less some ambulance chaser winning an actual lawsuit in court. And if history is any indication, they will win.

People that are disgusting slobs need to wear a mask, and they are.
People with good sense of basic hygiene, understand leaving personal space is important don’t have to wear a mask and can still not spread a virus, and we aren’t wearing them

This should be a good well rounded discussion. How did he politicize it?
Fair enough
I'd say that you can look at early May when he visit a facility making masks in Arizona while intentionally not wearing one during the visit.

Those items above have to happen because people are too stupid or too stubborn to follow one basic request
What I just cant wrap my head around is our inability to socially distance at stores or other public places.
If we would just stay away from each other, follow the directions in stores and restaurants, wash our hands and simple things this would just disappear. I was at a ball game the other day, mask wearers were much less likely to wash hands than the non mask wearers....but no one stayed away from others and the non mask wearers were still pathetic at actually washing their damn hands.

I am great with all of this
Back to my original point of people being too stupid and/or stubborn

Nah, still seems like an a-hole in present day to me.

AZ is seeing a huge increase in COVID hospitalizations now. Also an increase in deaths and our positivity rate of tests is increasing.
Huge increase?
Define huge increase.
Then compare covid death rates to everything else death rates.
Then tell me why sacrificing the economy and personal liberty is worth it.
Do we monitor crash fatalities under a constantly changing microscope and shut down the interstate system everytime there's a spike?
Be smart, practice social distancing, and wash your hands alot.
Stop shutting down the economy and this bullshite mask propaganda.

So, when they give you a citation are you going to be able to validate that defense in court?

Started about four years into the Advent of the social media age. That would put it around 2007 or 2008

My wife works for one of the most respected Hospitals in the world, they sent an email to all employees reminding them that cloth masks are effective on the street but they don't work inside the hospital and should not be worn, only proper PPE allowed inside.

There won't be a citation issued. No government is going to touch that with a ten foot pole, for a myriad of reasons.
Just go read the Davidson County language from the other thread.

What about that picture is politicizing not wearing a mask?
Also, what about the other three men in the background? Or the rest of the attendees that weren't wearing a mask?

Of course it's an opinion, and even when a judge decides on a case it will still be an opinion. But at this point it's the relevant opinion we have and they're experts opposed to your sweeping generalizations about successful settlements and civil trials over 20 years and what you think might happen.

The ADA doesn't even allow for monetary damages to be assessed against you in lawsuits brought by individuals. Louisiana might have a specific provision allowing it, but it's not in the ADA

She's probably also trying to get ahead of JBE moving us back to Phase 1.

What’s your point? Requiring all those things are still a reduction in freedom.
At least with a seatbelt there is data that says your chance of survival if wearing a seat belt is exponentially higher than if you don’t. There is no data that mask really help any where near that much.
But in the end, agree both are reductions in freedom and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Exactly, she knows what JBE will do if the numbers go back up further, would you rather have your customers wear masks now, or possibly be shut down again in two weeks?

Please tell me where they are saying that.
What a dumb argument. That’s like saying “if a girl says I have to wear a condom that’s fine I can just find another girl but she’s not going to make me wear one while I’m mowing the lawn!”
