“Due to my health conditions I am unable to wear a mask”

And leave it at that.

We’ll see more of this state and nationwide.

Those who don’t care about contracting the virus, much less spreading it, will struggle With it big time.

Wow. Just wow.

Let me explain it for you dummy trumpkins. Covid is like if you took your ak15 when the 60 round clip and holly points and started shooting. Masks are like bullet proof vests the more people that have them the more that live. It’s not about protecting rethuglicans like you it’s about the people that matter to society like pocs and people of size

Exactly. They don’t have to let you inside at all.

You can be in a wheelchair and refuse to wear a mask....still can be refused entry. If they offer you curbside service they have made enough accommodations for you.

And I am fine with that. But the Government will not require me to wear a mask to drive to work, walk my dog, etc. I am perfectly fine with a private business telling me to wear one, and will be perfectly fine going to the next option when they say I can't enter.

And to the other poster, what the hell does any of that have to do with Trump?

Using tribalism as justification. Fact of the matter is that the mask does provide a barrier that blocks some saliva. Try spitting through a mask if you doubt it. Are they making you breath in your own bacteria? Yes. Are people smart enough to know that you can change your mask several times a day if yoy wear them for long periods? Apparently not. Breathing in your own CO2 is bad. My brother has breathing problems from working at the Vegas stadium. Get away from.wberyone and take a short break for fresh air. I have now solved all the great mysteries of masks for the people. What prize do I win?

They aren’t saying that at all

if you are driving by yourself why would you need a mask? Only time I wear a mask driving is taking my 71 year old father with many medical issues to his many medical appointments (he wears a mask as well)

If you are outside walking your dog and can keep distance from others...you don’t need a mask either

See that’s the problem. Masks are NOT akin to bulletproof vests. Could they be helpful in slowing the spread, sure. Will they stop it completely, absolutely not. People who think wearing a mask will be some magic weapon are woefully ill informed.

Wearing masks would potentially prevent saliva from a cough getting on a person standing a few feet away similar to how wearing pants would prevent urine from a dude peeing getting on a person a few feet away. If they are standing right next to each other chances are in both situations the other person is getting some bodily fluid on them.

If wearing a mask in public places keeps restaurants and other establishments open, do it. Its not that hard.

My grandpappy refused to ration food or recycle rubber and steel for WWII when those government pricks insisted on it. He was special, by god, and not bowing to the overlords.

FDR's Office of Price Administration rationed cars, tires, gas, fuel oil, coal, firewood, nylon, silk, and shoes. Most Americans (sheep) used their ration cards and stamps to take their meager share of household staples including meat, dairy, coffee, dried fruits, jams, jellies, lard, shortening, and oils.

But not old Pap. He bought on the black market and hoarded that shite. Greater good, my arse, he always said.

Back then, he was looked on as an a-hole. But in today's America he would be an anti-mask hero and maybe even get elected to Congress.
