hence the slowing it down to flatten the curve dogma that idiots have continued to cling to.
The whole flatten the curve thing was originally meant to not overwhelm hospitals and resources. It's like none of that matters now and it's only the sky screaming about cases.
As far as La is concerned, don't we still have the $100 million plus temporary hospital at the Convention Center that is empty?

Let's just all do our part,
Everyone should do what they feel safe doing. If you don't feel safe going around people that don't wear masks then don't go out. You will have to do grocery delivery or something like that but it is possible....my in laws did it for 6+ weeks.
Personally I feel safe doing just about anything that I did before. I keep 6 ft distance between myself and strangers, but I certainly am not afraid of getting the virus because a person isn't wearing a mask. If LSU had a football game tomorrow would I go? You're damn right I would. If I get it i'll just get over it and go on with my life. This isn't something that is going to scare me enough to put my life on hold. The fact that we were mandated to do so by the government is asinine. The fact that people were told to close their businesses by the government is outright overreach in this situation. Now if we were talking about an airborne Ebola outbreak that had a 60% death rate then maybe we can talk about all the strict quarantining measures.

Our office building management company sent us an e-mail last night (in jefferson parish). Starting tomorrow, we have to wear a mask when in all "common areas" of the building. They are not enforcing that rule in individual office suites.
We have decided that in our offices, we won't wear them if we don't want to, but, if any clients come to our office, we will wear them when visiting with the client.

There are a lot of things in this world that people think are safe that are dangerous to others, and a lot of these things are legislated. Driving and building codes, for example. If not wearing a mask were a victimless action, I would be totally on board with you. It turns out it's not, and sometimes you don't even know you're harming someone else.
I personally feel safe going about day to day life. My wearing a mask has nothing to with fear. It has everything with slowing the spread as society.

Could be better. Could be worse. Just maintaining. Cases on the rise, but so is testing. Hospitals seems good in the region. I'm hopeful.

Exactly. They don’t have to let you inside at all.
[quote]You can be in a wheelchair and refuse to wear a mask....still can be refused entry. If they offer you curbside service they have made enough accommodations for you.
Daughter had to put up with a Karen yesterday. They have a big sign on the front door stating masks must be on. This Karen went ape shite due to the fact she wanted service and not wear a mask. Daughter told her to find another Vet office. This is a small Vet office and if anyone there test + for 19, they will have to shut down all together. Besides that, if anyone goes to a doctors office or hospital, one has to have a mask on.
So, all that are saying screw wearing a mask and you happen to need medical attention, guess what, you will be wearing one if you want treatment.
