Good because the government isn’t requiring you to wear a mask while driving to work or while walking your dog unless you walk dog near groups of people. You picked two examples where you don’t have wear a mask.

The government is requiring business to ensure all patrons wear masks, good luck at your next option.

Key is combination of mask and social distancing

And yes...nothing is completely fool proof.

Seriously....the refusal to wear a mask issue shouldn’t be the hill you choose to die on.

Or you can continue to not comply...like what happened in AZ...and look what happened there. They just shut more businesses down yesterday because too many people continue to ignore the need to still act with caution. (To be fair....AZ’s situation is worse than many other states right now so that certainly influenced the state’s actions).

Wrong. People with health conditions that prevent them from wearing a mask have to be offered the same services as those without the health condition.

Your example is like a business in the 1960s telling a black person they have to eat outside

My grandpappy refused to ration food or recycle rubber and steel for WWII when those government pricks insisted on it. He was special, by god, and not bowing to the overlords.
Thank him for his service to Germany and Japan for us.

Okay I will continue. Shopping for groceries, eating, getting my hair cut, going to the gym. You have your opinion, I have mine, and I will not wear a mask. If I am required to I will go to the next one where I don't have to.

Then what is? People are so eager to give up freedoms for “safety”. People should be considerate and wear a mask but making it law is a whole other ballgame.

First it’s wear a mask in a building. Then it’s wear a mask outside. Then it’s wear a mask in your home. All of this to try to stop a disease that’s inevitable at this point unless it dies out on its own probably bc enough people get it to develop some sort of herd immunity to it.

I wear a face covering when I go to the store. I have not been out to eat or in a large indoor setting with my kids since this whole thing started. But I have been outside with my family a ton and it has been great.

The ADA says otherwise, and a lawyer would have a field day with a business stupid enough to do this.

“Due to my health conditions I am unable to wear a mask”

And they cannot ask what or why.

Its like everyone else's "emotional support animal" that they can't be without in the store, but those are still allowed without question.

If wearing a mask in public places keeps restaurants and other establishments open, do it. Its not that hard.

Dumb...as long as hospitals stay half empty these places should be open regardless. Curve is flattened. This is just more political overreach to appease the fragile Karen’s.

The first suit challenging the fine for not wearing a mask will destroy the enforcement part of this. If you can’t wait for that, maybe you can be the person to bring it down. Otherwise, wait a few weeks.

They're required here in Nashville. I almost had to fire an employee yesterday because he refused to wear one because he said it was like Sharia Law. He changed his tune when I said I'd fire him for breaking company safety protocols.

Look, I don't like wearing a mask. No one does. It's hot and it's uncomfortable. But if it gets us out of this shite then I'm all for it. Find something that's comfortable for you and rock it. I'm sporting my LSU gator. It stays around my neck when I don't need it, and I pull it up when I do need it. It's easy.

Bingo. You know masks are pointless. I know masks are pointless. The politicians know masks are pointless.

But Karen, Karen will raise holy hell for any little reason that will make her feel safe, and politicians will appease Karen just to get her to shut the frick up. All the while the media keeps shoving more doom and gloom, riling Karen back up for her next fainting spell.
