I live out here in Georgia...and the state overall is great.
But ATL, although better than just about every east coast city other than maybe Charlotte (ATL>Raliegh...sorry fanbois),
still sucks by far in comparison to most western cities like Phoenix, SLC, OKC, etc.
It's OK, but beautiful is a reach, and it isn't particularly safe downtown either.
I'm from Louisiana, it's home, and it is a shithole...but ATL isn't much better.
