If the AL player - who was standing OOB - touched the ball before PP had control, would that make it incomplete?
I was at the game and have been trying to figure this out for years (thankfully, usually only once per year).

American Airlines Destroyed My Checked Bag - what would you do?

Sorry - long story.
Returned from Europe to a city in the NE part of the US. Flight to our home airport that evening was canceled so had to take an alternate flight which got us 3 hours from home late that night. Had to pay for hotel rooms and arrange ground transport home the next morning.
Because of flight change, our checked bags did not make it with us. Within 3 days 5 of the 6 bags arrived to our home airport, however the final bag was shown by the info from AA to be traveling all over the southeast.
'It' eventually arrived to our local airport a week later. The duffel bag was shredded, the contents that remained were soaked, clothes also shredded, souvenirs destroyed or gone. AA at local airport had no explanation just gave us a form to fill out and told us to call a #.
Called the # a few days later and was told the 'file' was closed because we didn't call within 24 hours of picking up our shredded bag, etc - although this time constraint was never told to us.
I wasn't the initial caller, but will be the next one.
Any one had similar experience of an airline DESTROYING your luggage and then trying not to pay up?
Advice/thoughts??

Yes, and the fans from that game will have used their ticket - so you can't buy it from them. There is only 1 session (ticket) on Friday for the 2 games currently scheduled for Friday.

Our current use of pitchers makes it possible for us to get swept without throwing either one of our 2 best pitchers this weekend in a meaningful inning.
