I thought cops were only supposed to ram a vehicle if the driver is putting others in danger or being evasive?

The real crime of the story.

Why did the cop ram him? Was he fleeing? There should be a lawsuit for that too, after a couple chiropractor visits.

$75k for a 1/2 ton pickup truck?
I don’t understand how a rational human being could think that is ever a good deal.

And people think flock cameras are a good idea
Was Flock involved in locating the truck, or was it LoJack?

Side note: I'll never understand the folks that claim to be deathly afraid of police yet react by escalating situation and being confrontational.
Their actions prove they aren't afraid.

Gave him his money back but also already sold his trade in. Was literally left carless

Guys he didn’t pay $75k for the vehicle. The total purchase price was $61,230

For what they did to him 50k is not enough and I’m not a fan of bs lawsuits.
Yeah, at very least cover the total financing price for a comparable truck + legal fees.
Maybe throw in that the owner of the dealership has to use that Ford Focus as his daily driver for a year.
Is the dealership on the hook for the wasted taxpayer hours, towing bills ect for making the false theft report?

He should get his pick of any car on the lot or any Affiliated dealer no matter the relative cost of the car for all the shite that he's been put through

He’s daydreaming about how many trucks he can buy after he sues the everliving hell out of them

Doral VW gave him his money back. I don't know what they did with the trade in. I guess they gave back that as well. they tried to get him to go thru arbitration to resolve it. He sued them for $50k.
Should have fixed the damaged ride for him for free, paid off the rest of the vehicle AND gave him $50k for his troubles.
