Not sure if this has been posted yet or not, but this live channel has been doing a good job of showing aerial views of the fire and the water drops.

Pretty wild to watch real time and see if they can save the neighborhood

An insane view of the fire areas from high altitude, courtesy of the BBC:

I wonder what FEMA’s plan is for cleanup. Does insurance need to first make the total loss declaration before someone’s lot can be cleared? How soon can FEMA put the homeowners in a FEMA trailer?

This is going to be a weird case in recovery given the high levels of wealth in the areas affected.

Oh right, they’re getting it because they’re fricking rich and are his donors and they realize that Adam Carola is right that they’ll swing on a dime to endorse Trump if they don’t get their way. Again, I’m for it, but save for Ukraine, Israel, the military industrial complex, and BlackRock, they haven’t done shite to help anyone in this country.

I was ridiculed yesterday religiously over my stance on that state and the damage it’s done to this country. Now we are looking at the government stepping in, pissing in the face of all the folks in NC, to clean up the disaster on the West coast.

I agree this is good for the folks of California who were affected. Glad they were helped when they needed it.

They just said on the news that the ENTIRE county was just accidentally messaged to evacuate? Lol

ETA: LA county fire department sent it. Evacuation order to the entire LA County. What a fricking mess, people on the news are laughing in frustration.

Yes, but it was likely sent by a proud lesbian, so appreciate the diversity and the opportunity she has that many have never had before!!!

I mean, this is off the charts.

Has a single aspect of this ordeal been performed appropriately?

Have you seen an active map of areas that have been torched so far?

I saw the NWS projection, but don't know where to look for a current map. Every news article I've seen has just been close-up pictures of burning bldgs, and news about "landmark" restaurants that are safe or not safe.

Federal Government shouldn’t give them any money. Instead they should say, “Sorry, you wanted us to send it all to Ukraine.”.

I wonder if Carolla's house and warehouse is in jeopardy. I think his place is in Malibu, which I have no idea if its in the fire area.
