LSU anti-hazing task force report is in - not good for frat baws

Long article at link but here are their recommendations which OT Favorite F. King says he is going to adopt across the board. LSU stacked. Frats fricked.
I love how they threw in making fraternities disclose their “demographics” online. What exactly does that SJW bullshite have to do with hazing? I got news folks, there are white and black fraternities and tearing down some statues isn’t going to change that.

-Changing the minimum requirements for house managers, also known as house mothers, and requiring each fraternity to have one.
-Creating an amnesty program that encourages students to call for help in a medical emergency without fear of repercussions against them.
-Creating uniform penalties for infractions like alcohol use, hazing, drugs and sexual misconduct so it’s clear what discipline a student will face.
-Increasing the number of chapter advisers depending on the size of the organization.
-Eliminating alcohol for all new member education events, which is typically the time hazing occurs.
-Eliminating hard alcohol and single source alcohol, like kegs and punches, at fraternity houses.
-Requiring a fraternity board member to be present during all new member education.
-Utilizing law enforcement to better enforce laws banning underage drinking.
-Creating an online portal where Greek organizations would have to disclose five years of disciplinary actions against them, as well as average GPAs, demographics and other attributes of the fraternity.
-Making fraternities register their tailgate parties for Saturday football games and forcing them to take place at their respective houses, rather than the Parade Grounds.

I, for one, am utterly shocked that college students act like jackasses.

I think we need a better definition of hazing.
Going to get Taco Bell for an active at 9PM =\= telling a pledge to put his hand in -15C ice water .
I have no issues with pledges being the bitch for a semester . But I draw the line a physical harm or criminal activity.

No problem here really

Yeah right on the no punishment part

They should already have this.

Ok.

This could get bad. They're going to try to group everything as new member events.

They already do this.

Already a rule.

This really isn't that unfair I don't think.

Besides moving to the houses they already pretty much do this. The fraternities tailgate in the same spots every week so it's not like they dont know who is who already.

There's the beginning of forcing them to have equal numbers of blacks and whites in each one. Thanks frickyouKing Alexander!

Why don’t we just raise the age of adulthood to thirty since the Nanny Class that runs the culture is hell-bent on prolonging adulthood as long as possible. More rules, more laws, more focus groups to make more recommendations to make Progressives feel more powerful is what is needed here.

These two rules together means frats fricked, LSU stacked

I don't particularly care for frats, but this is fricking stupid.
frick you, it's the frats fault.....if you wanna party under the name of an organization, then do it at your own location. They try to do it at a public place and use the whole "we didn't invite them, they just showed up" as an excuse when stupid shite goes down.
I get it, I was there once..but on game days we had dates...and partied at the house until moving to the stadium.
What's the big deal if a frat isn't allowed to set up at the parade grounds...it's literally across the street from frat row

This one is interesting, because we stopped tailgating at the house due to LSU restrictions on tailgates. Also, there is no way to enforce this.
The rest of these are fairly standard operating procedures

Thank god
This is long overdue, regardless of the hazing issue

I've been pissed and ranting about the shitty treatment of Greek orgs but most of those seem reasonable except specifically the tailgate at the house requirement. You're saying a group of students isn't allowed to tailgate on the parade grounds because they happen to be in a frat?

Is this the beginning of secret societies at LSU?
Posted on 1/25/18 at 9:06 am to GoldenBoy
Yeah why dont all these baws just move off campus and create their own social clubs?
