Or, and just hear me out here, and this is coming from a GDI:
18 year olds should know not to chug hard liquor and say "frick off" if someone tells him to.
Don't blame the Greek system for these dudes doing stupid shite.

-Making fraternities register their tailgate parties for Saturday football games and forcing them to take place at their respective houses, rather than the Parade Grounds.
Only two things that are questionable, as everything else is already a national rule or not that unreasonable, and if the amnesty program isn't a trap it is actually a good thing.
On the portal, besides the demographics part, disclosing the last 5 years of discipline and average GPA isn't even that bad. If you had a top GPA in IFC you would probably be disclosing it already anyway. Ready for the melt when GDI's see that most fraternity average GPAs are higher than the student average GPA.

LSU can get away with things like this due to the charters I believe

100% yes.
Lot of the current issues, in fact, seem to stem from rules designed to prevent issues.
I'd much much rather them party at the house with a few kegs than that parade ground mess.

If I'm president, I go into the weekly meeting and tell everyone to report as non-binary, mixed race.

Here are the grades from Fall 2017, listed on the Greek Life website. Fraternity GPA is once again higher than non-Greek men.

"How many women are in your fraternity?"
"Well, Mr. F**King Alexander, we respect each other here and I would not stoop to questioning the gender of our members. Or their race, for that matter."

But, but, but racists, partying, degenerate, pay for friends!!!!!! BAN GREEK LIFE
Alpha Phi Alpha's GPA is embarrassing, as are the other bottom two or 3 fraternities.

Alpha Phi Alpha is a black fraternity. Phi Iota Alpha is a Mexican fraternity. Sigma Alpha Mu is the Jewish fraternity. Theta Chi just blows.
DKE's pledges made a 1.98.

I don't particularly care for frats, but this is fricking stupid. frick you, it's the frats fault.....if you wanna party under the name of an organization, then do it at your own location. They try to do it at a public place and use the whole "we didn't invite them, they just showed up" as an excuse when stupid shite goes down. I get it, I was there once..but on game days we had dates...and partied at the house until moving to the stadium. What's the big deal if a frat isn't allowed to set up at the parade grounds...it's literally across the street from frat row
Problem with this now is you are basically telling someone that if you are in a fraternity, you are required to stay at your house on game day.
Say you and 8 guys who you are good friends with have your own tailgate. Truly isn't an organizational thing. But 7 of you are all in the same fraternity. Something goes down at that tailgate, they are going to call it an unregistered frat tailgate and come down on the whole organization.

What's the big deal about having to tailgate at your house? I would actually prefer that.

Thank god
This is long overdue, regardless of the hazing issue
+1
As someone who has tailgated out there for 10 years or so, the Parade Grounds became much more pleasant 2nd half of the season.

None of them seem totally unreasonable. I don't get putting demographics online because that will probably have the opposite affect that they're expecting it to have.

LSU, being the dumbasses that they are, changed the rules years ago to keep fraternities from getting too fricked up in their own houses, so in response the fraternities moved to the Parade Grounds, and now LSU wants to put them back where they were.
Everyone would prefer that, fraternities and families alike.

Strict alcohol rules. Refer to the other single source rule. You basically have to pay for a vendor to come in and sell you just beer. I mean, we still drank in the house, but had to keep stuff hidden in our rooms. IIRC, you were only supposed to have a 6 pack per person over the age of 21 in your room or something like that.
