One year in the mid-80’s, maybe it was for South Seas, IFC made each fraternity hire security. Our guy had to be 80 years old and stayed out of the way. During the party, he went out to the side of the house to take a piss and fell in the dark and could not get up. He radio’d “Officer down” on his radio and 4 or 5 guards from neighboring parties swarmed in, thinking the worst. They shut the party down before they figured out what happened.
Moving pregame parties back to the houses is great but lighten up on the rules, mom.

It's time for an OT baller to buy up land & buildings just off of campus, knock it all down, & build new fraternity houses in a new gated neighborhood. Set up Greek friendly HOA rules. Boom. Problems solved. LSU off the backs of the Greeks & LSU loses a ton of money as the housing payments dry up. Money ends up in the pockets of someone that truly deserves it, the legendary OT baller.
Either this OR all fraternities will now have to rent out Tigerland & other campus adjacent bars. Because the house rules for alcohol severely limit the amount of fun to be had for tailgates & even house parties.
The "market" is going to find a way to thrive. Just as it did when they were forced out of the houses to the Parade Grounds.
