What's the big deal if a frat isn't allowed to set up at the parade grounds...it's literally across the street from frat row
Not all are located there, for many it's a pretty far walk.

Those new rules really aren't bad at all. Some of the individual fraternity's now have harsher rules from their national headquarters. For example Kappa Sig is going to start randomly drug testing their new members and actives.

This shite won't happen. The fraternity alumni won't let it happen.

No joke. LSU made us do this like 12 years ago when I was still in school. We had to get catering for all parties at the house and they could only sell beer.
Hard liquor and single source alcohol was only done at off-site parties. We would rent a field out in Port Allen or somewhere.

What does that change from the way it is now? Nothing. Nobody alerts the university that they'll be hazing tonight.

It's still this way. I'm not sure what uninformed retard made a suggestion that's already a rule.
It shows the competence of these people.

Making fraternities register their tailgate parties for Saturday football games and forcing them to take place at their respective houses, rather than the Parade Grounds
Thank god
This is long overdue, regardless of the hazing issue
never should have left the houses in the first place, which was LSU's doing....

I wonder when the Omega’s across the country will get to in trouble for literally branding their pledges

Care to elaborate for some of the younger folks who wouldn't remember this?

This one is interesting, because we stopped tailgating at the house due to LSU restrictions on tailgates. Also, there is no way to enforce this.
Agreed. LSU will have to change the rules for alcohol at the fraternity houses if they want to move them to the house.

The shite black fraternities do to their pledges makes everything white fraternities do (short of death) look tame. They get a free pass for obvious reasons.

LSU began requiring you to register any event with alcohol at the fraternity house, along with being forced to hired third-party security and a third-party vendor who can only serve beer. If anything goes wrong, that's your arse, because it's a registered event. So, everyone just ran to the Parade Grounds in order to avoid the bullshite and do what they want.

This is funny, because all tailgates used to be at the house until LSU made them stop.

This has been a rule for at least 25 years.

The frats GPA's are nobody's business. Does EVERY student have to list their GPA's on a portal ? Demographics are what they are, to insinuate total black or white fraternities are racist is your typical liberal anti American labeling mechanism to tear down the country. As far as disciplinary actions, will ALL students have their records on a portal also ????? DISCRIMINATION to say the least.
Lastly, can the SAME rules be applied to ATHLETES on campus ? Will THEY list their GPA's, demographics, and disciplinary and/or criminal records ?????????

Half of the shite they proposed is already on the books. Fraternity GPAs are already accessible on the Greek Life website if you take a second to look for it. Any punishments handed down to the fraternity recently are online as well. Demographics should be off limits, because as you said, that's the beginning of the "look how racist these white fraternities are", while ignoring the all-black fraternities and sororities.

When gender and ethnicity is in continual flux, how are demographics even reported accurately?
