Sounds wild. Seems like the driver survived the crash and killed himself at the scene.

quote:

The chase began about 2:30 p.m. at Canal and Rampart streets when state police noticed a car with a stolen license plate, said Melissa Matey, LSP spokeswoman. The driver refused to stop and continued on Interstate 10 East.

After exiting on Chef Menteur, the car struck a box truck and veered off road into a fence near Lonely Oak Drive, Matey said.

Two people were thrown from the vehicle, including the 2-year-old. Both were killed, Matey said. The child was not properly restrained and the other victim was not wearing a seatbelt, she said.

A third person died by suicide following the crash, she said.

Sad about the 2 year old. Probably saved him or her a life of suffering based on th behavior of his or her parents.

Same happened in BR when the kid got hit during a pursuit. Gravy and crew immediately blamed the cops before any info was put out.

I assume the kid was not in a child seat? I know it's a minor part of the story but why?

Don't care?

Don't have a child seat?

Wow. What a c-nt to say.

Plenty of people grow up with arse holes for parents and work hard to do the opposite and be successful.

Your parents don't determine your life.

This kid is dead.

That fact that you think this is reprehensible.

Then again...maybe your kid will die and people will say the same that you did.

Reading those comments is truly baffling. They somehow don't hold the driver responsible.

Bruh, there is a certain segment of society that does not use child seats or even seat belts. Kids are free to climb around the car.

Two innocent people dead because of one criminal. It sounds like the child wasn't properly restrained, and might have been saved by a car seat and a seat belt
