re: Please help out an Old with wifi modem/router options - BrotherEsau
Thanks y’all. I’m going this route. My place is also old and blocky w a pool. Next catch though is the little old couple I brought from that lived here for 20 years must’ve been stealing cable. Cox has a block on my address for fraud. Now have to jump through hoops. Unreal. ...

Please help out an Old with wifi modem/router options - BrotherEsau
I'm not even that old, but I'm overwhelmed. About to move and want to cut the cord and go internet only. We just don't watch regular tv. Have Firetv, Hulu, Netflix etc. Going with cox for my internet. Is it better to just rent their stuff or should I buy my own modem and router? What do you guy...

re: Fight at MIA airport again - BrotherEsau
Did ole whitey throw only one punch that missed? Agree with others - it's not just about being able to take a punch, but also how to throw one, and more importantly, the willingness to do it. Too many people seem to get in fights and then just either flail about or try to break it up. Newsflash,...

re: Question about launching out of Port Sulphur - BrotherEsau
You can also launch in Myrtle Grove. The Myrtle grove canal is a relatively straight, pretty easy shot out to Barataria Bay. From there, you can fish all the same areas. Grand Isle is about a 20-30 minute run across the bay, conditions permitting. ...

re: Vehicle AC setting, fresh air or recycled? - BrotherEsau
Recycled because I dont want to sit in traffic and have exhaust blowing in my face. That said, fricking Ford makes it impossible. Unless you are on Max, the recycle turns itself off every 9 minutes. It's apparently to help prevent windows from fogging up, which has never been an issue for me. ...

re: Is Dead & Company Any Good Live? - BrotherEsau
Yes they are good. No, they are not the Grateful Dead. Yes, they are really goddamn good. There are two choices: (1) never go see them because they are not the grateful dead, and goddammit if it's not Jerry its not the dead. or (2) accept they're not the grateful dead. However, they are ...

re: Dead & Company Fall Tour and Jazz Fest Date - BrotherEsau
I'll take Dead and Co pit at Wrigley for $180 all day.
If you got an extra... I got hung up this morning. Had presale code for Colorado and Wrigley. Colorado is gone, nothing available. Wrigley only has far back seats left. I want pit/GA up front. I guess I'll wait and see. ...

re: Ate at Peche this weekend for wife's graduation - BrotherEsau
I love Peche, go every couple weeks. Never had a bad meal or service. That said, last few times, food can be slow to come out. We usually order several rounds of dishes, and tell them to bring em as they come. Last two times specifically though, we started with apps and suggested we might order ...

re: Used Boat Buying Tips - BrotherEsau
Biggest issues are to have a mechanic go over the motor, run a compression test and let you know of any other issues they see. Does he have maintenance records? Second is a good sea trial. Be sure you can run it at over 4000 rpm for 15 minutes at least to make sure no cooling issues. Make sure all e...

re: Dropping shrimp in crawfish boil - BrotherEsau
My issue is peeling leftovers while still eating them, even though I'm full as frick. I make omelets because it's easy. My mom and aunt once made bisque. Said they spent two days cleaning and stuffing shells and making the bisque. We all ate the whole pot in about two hours. They decided it was d...

re: Game Warden line of questioning - BrotherEsau
My most recent interaction was about 14 years ago at Hopedale Marina. Came back in on a hot as balls August afternoon, pulled up to the dock about 2 minutes behind two green jeans in a real nice Triton bay boat. They were heat stroking so bad, they got off the boat and ran inside to the a/c and wat...
