Not all bad, new cases is still trending now and ventilators is still coming way down. So people appear to not be catching it as often and those who do are not getting as sick. Treatment appears to be working. Those that got sick weeks ago unfortunately have the hardest road.

You set the bar too high by posting at 12:01 the past few weeks.
When I hit the LA.Gov site at 12:05 and saw that the number was 14867 I thought damn... no new cases.

The decrease is numbers on ventilators is very good news

JBE gotta keep those numbers looking bad. We've only spent $573 million which means we as a state are on the hook for 25%. Got to pump those numbers up to $660 million to get that percentage down to 90/10 split Fed/State.

Dardenne said the administration expected guidance on those funds in a week.

Vent usage is declining even as cases increase and deaths rise. This is a promising outlook.

hard to wonder what type of backlog exists, strange numbers today with highest daily new death total yet extreme drop in vents used
