JBE is going to bitch a lot more about flattening the curve, but it’s going to run it’s course because we still have to shop, eat, etc. There will be a point that we have to accept that we have to open the economy because that is worse than the virus.

My mom's best friend of 73 years passed this morning. She was in bad health and got it from her in home caretaker.

we have only been shut down for a week

I think I read somewhere that the average day of death after infection is 18 days

Hospital people here for a while have been telling you about where numbers are heading because we see the patients. The numbers for beds, vents, cases in ED all trail what is happening in real time because it's not until the tests come back do they count.
