Can’t wait to see what these ‘investments’ look like. Are they gonna cut checks and hand them out? Are they going to fully finance and operate new stores? Housing? Gift cards?
As usual, the money will end up funding a bunch of ‘non-profits‘, and a select few ‘black leaders’ will end up lining their pockets, while the ‘community’ will just find something else to bitch about and burn down the city again in a few months or maybe a year. Rinse and repeat.

Government funding, where results don’t matter as long as you feel good

They don't live in L.A. anyway. They live in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica and shite like that.

Their high crime rates are because of the people that live there and commit crimes.

This is smart. Teach the malcontents if they act out they will get what they want. Shouldn’t give them shite until they haven’t been rioting and looting for months.

Yep. They’re in desperation mode now. California is a great example of where this whole country is headed. They’re just ahead of the curve. Generations of super liberal leadership, gigantic budget based on super high taxes, inflated social programs, open borders, etc., and yet still a failed state.
Don’t worry, the rest of the country will catch up soon enough.

That's not even a stretch or an inference to suggest that's what the terrorist Adbullah is saying.

I guess they are trying to become the murder capitol of the us.... slashing a police budget and giving money to the people that re the problem what could go wrong?

As long as these changes are restricted at the individual community levels, I’m all for it. Let these folks experiment whichever way they wish on their own homes. As long as we aren’t over reacting at federal levels and mandating similar changes, I’m all for individual communities having the autonomy to try different things. I HIGHLY suspect this will be extremely counter productive for the LA community, and when the rest of the country sees that it will provide more evidence for it being a bad decision at higher levels.
This is how the country is suppose to work. Let small localities try out new policies first, and only adopt the ones that actually work at higher levels.

Cutting half the police force, then when people complain it takes too long for the police response they will blame the police.
Police will also quit patrolling areas of high crime and eventually let them police themselves
