Nope. They're protesting that police are racists. It cannot be a training and incompetence problem. It has to be a race problem.

As usual, the money will end up funding a bunch of ‘non-profits‘, and a select few ‘black leaders’ will end up lining their pockets, while the ‘community’ will just find something else to bitch about and burn down the city again in a few months or maybe a year. Rinse and repeat.

These "protesters" don't really want law and order.

Imagine the bounty of recreation centers and basketball courts for all those areas?

That experiment has worked so well in NBR where those two areas are more prevalent than the used tire shops, beauty stores and the many scuba shops off Hollywood Dr.

If these race issues are systemic how does money change that?

Does taking money from police departments change the belief system of a certain portion of the population?

Why is every “fix” from the black community about money when racism is a belief held by individuals?

Yep, just give away money and all racism and prejudice will vanish. Why has no one thought of this before?

LAPD is a very well organized machine. Their rank and file and union are about to shove this budget cut down the throats of every elected official that supported and approved it.

It’s going to be glorious. These people think they can have everything both ways. Some life lessons are about to be taught at the expense of public safety. Sad day in America.
