And let’s not act like we didn’t notice it was ALWAYS all about JD when he was here. His transfer was a pure business decision, and all he ever cared about was himself and his stats/draft status. Kelly sold his soul for the guy.

Unfortunately this is the new state of college football. I really hate what the sport has become, and it ain’t getting any better.

Of course now it’s the business owner’s fault that ferals are allowed to run wild in the city. Surely we can’t expect EBR, to which he likely pays substantial taxes, to maybe make an effort to show presence in an area that the city desperately wants to see improved, which might result in increased spending, tourism, and general tax generating activity.

A business owner/operator can only do so much. Once they get the riff raff out the door, what else should they reasonably be expected to do?

It’s hard enough to make money in those conditions. Tacking on another few thousand a month for even more security to guard the streets (where they can’t legally do shite) would be a death blow to a business like that. They’re already probably not long for this world, so they’ll close soon, and the cycle will continue.

Both songs suck. The Joel version is an instant channel changer. Only heard the fallout girl version once and it reminded me how shitty the original was.

I remember being very excited about new Roth/VH music at the time. Initial thoughts were ‘man it sounds like Dave is stretching his range to the max trying to outshine Sammy, and it sounds like shite.’ Haven’t heard this song in many years. Listening again, thoughts still the same, but Eddie sounded great as usual

I think at the time he was angling for a full, long term reunion and it just didn’t pan out.

This whole case shines a huge light on liberal bastions like Seattle. Super liberal, lilly white, very strict gun laws, DEI, etc.

You’ve got black thugs (blacks are like 6% in Seattle) shooting up a high trust, hippie foodie event, even though guns are pretty much illegal. The black police chief (he must be mega qualified and outstanding since he’s from a very small black population and soared to the top against all kinds of statistical improbability) happens to be out of town for an event in Texas celebrating black law enforcement leaders, and the laughably unqualified socialist female mayor who’s never had a real job struggles to navigate the whole situation locally. They can’t even say ‘gang’ or state race or number of shooters.

These people are willfully ignorant, stupid, and so brainwashed into their Marxism that they can’t (or more likely won’t) even see reality as it’s punching them repeatedly in the face.
