No idea what’s going on here, real or fake, but one thing is for certain:
No matter what happened here, it will somehow be blamed on straight, white men. Even if this is all fake and nothing actually happened, straight, white men will get blamed and lectured anyway.

Hadn’t thought about that guy in years. Does he still have a show? How do you listen? Couldn’t find anything online. YouTube or podcast or something?

This is so glaringly obvious. He’s got a below average arm, he’s not really a runner, he’s not cerebral, and he’s way undersized. I’m sure he’s a nice fella, but that doesn’t translate to starting NFL QB.i don’t get the appeal.

Why anyone would listen to a woman talk sports at any time ever is beyond me. Change the channel.

These kinds of acronyms are stupid anyway, just like the abbreviations ‘T-Mac’ “C-Mac’, “D-Will’, etc. So overused. How about we just call people by their name.

Great stats, big plays, but I never liked the west coast mercenary. He’s showing his true colors.
And let’s not act like we didn’t notice it was ALWAYS all about JD when he was here. His transfer was a pure business decision, and all he ever cared about was himself and his stats/draft status. Kelly sold his soul for the guy.
Unfortunately this is the new state of college football. I really hate what the sport has become, and it ain’t getting any better.

More of an indictment of the entitled, self centered, NIL era of football as a whole.
I really hate what college football has become.

Create a league that nobody wants, fully subsidize it since it could never generate revenue of its own, then give a bunch of women jobs and a platform to spew their irrelevant thoughts from. What did they think would happen?

Facey said he manages the situation by hiring extra duty police officers and security guards, but neighboring businesses say that is not enough.
Of course now it’s the business owner’s fault that ferals are allowed to run wild in the city. Surely we can’t expect EBR, to which he likely pays substantial taxes, to maybe make an effort to show presence in an area that the city desperately wants to see improved, which might result in increased spending, tourism, and general tax generating activity.
A business owner/operator can only do so much. Once they get the riff raff out the door, what else should they reasonably be expected to do?
It’s hard enough to make money in those conditions. Tacking on another few thousand a month for even more security to guard the streets (where they can’t legally do shite) would be a death blow to a business like that. They’re already probably not long for this world, so they’ll close soon, and the cycle will continue.

If you study up on the history of Marxism/Communism, you will find that the majority of the founding philosophers, individual drivers of the movement, and high level leadership were (and still are) mostly privileged, upper middle and upper class academic types who knew nothing about the peasants and ‘proletariat’ they claimed to represent, yet they were certain that their ideas are exactly what the proletariat would want if they were smart enough to think for themselves. Spoiled rich kids, full of angst, with no real life experience or personal struggles are the norm within these commie/socialist groups.

Both songs suck. The Joel version is an instant channel changer. Only heard the fallout girl version once and it reminded me how shitty the original was.
re: It’s no longer legal to charge additional for debit card usage- PSA
Posted by Nature Boy on 8/2/26 at 2:37 pm to SlidellCajun
This shite is just another example of how Covid policies destroyed the economy and inflated the cost of everything.
Credit card companies have charged their fee on every swipe since credit cards were invented. I don’t ever remember explicitly being charged extra (on top of the advertised price) until costs got out of control and vendors were trying to make sure you knew it was the credit card company’s fault they were so expensive. It was a way to shift responsibility.
The credit card fees have always been built into the cost of doing business until very recently. It’s just become acceptable in the last few years to add an additional surcharge on top of already inflated prices that will never decrease back toward normal levels. Just like asking for a fricking tip on every simple transaction. Probably 80% of purchases are paid on some kind of card these days. Just bake it into your price and spare me the bullshite.

I remember being very excited about new Roth/VH music at the time. Initial thoughts were ‘man it sounds like Dave is stretching his range to the max trying to outshine Sammy, and it sounds like shite.’ Haven’t heard this song in many years. Listening again, thoughts still the same, but Eddie sounded great as usual
I think at the time he was angling for a full, long term reunion and it just didn’t pan out.

And let’s put aside for a moment the obvious racial stereotypes being displayed by the chief.
Isn’t that intimidating behavior exactly the kind of ‘toxic masculinity’ these freaks are always whining about? And toward one of their own beloved ‘journalists’ of all people, who is also most certainly a huge liberal himself? So many contradictions.

This whole case shines a huge light on liberal bastions like Seattle. Super liberal, lilly white, very strict gun laws, DEI, etc.
You’ve got black thugs (blacks are like 6% in Seattle) shooting up a high trust, hippie foodie event, even though guns are pretty much illegal. The black police chief (he must be mega qualified and outstanding since he’s from a very small black population and soared to the top against all kinds of statistical improbability) happens to be out of town for an event in Texas celebrating black law enforcement leaders, and the laughably unqualified socialist female mayor who’s never had a real job struggles to navigate the whole situation locally. They can’t even say ‘gang’ or state race or number of shooters.
These people are willfully ignorant, stupid, and so brainwashed into their Marxism that they can’t (or more likely won’t) even see reality as it’s punching them repeatedly in the face.

Masters Trip: Lodging experiences and tips from those who have been?
Posted by Nature Boy on 7/26/26 at 8:14 am
Kinda surprised I didn’t see an old thread about this. Looking for info about staying near Augusta for the Masters next year. I know it’s expensive AF to stay in town. We’re looking for good areas to search for condo or small cabin/house rentals. Only qualifications are: less than an hour drive to Augusta; casual dining and grocery options nearby. I’m sure some if you have experiences to share. TIA
