What sucks is there’s probably a bunch of really good human beings on these teams that are just completely embarrassed about the actions of their teammates
You know I’ve always tended to think that way, and to a certain degree still do (or at least really want to) but the silence from these mythical ‘good human beings who are embarrassed’ is deafening in every aspect of that society. In fact, like this clown of a ‘leader’, it’s much more likely that instead all we hear are excuses and even endorsement of this kind of behavior.

That place is so ghetto. I don't care about race and it wasn't a problem, but me and the person with me were two of the four white people in there.. The kitchen had their music turned and could be heard over the house music and the staff was either black girls or gay black dudes.
Location and demographics make huge differences in service and quality at any chain restaurant.
I’ve had outstanding service and food quality at certain Popeyes, Chili’s, Outback, etc but it was 100% because of the quality of the labor pool. It makes all the difference.

And so many penalties/stoppages. Tuned in tonight strictly for FF purposes, and was quickly reminded why I rarely watch standalone games anymore. Hard to watch.

They lie because whether or not their story is true, it will become fact in the minds of their constituents and the media, and therefore part of the narrative forever. It’s a great strategy. Why stop when it works 100% of the time?

Gotta be the biggest bust of the season, and one of the bigger 1/2 rd busts I can ever remember.

He basically said he’d just retire if he were to get traded. “Go drink pina coladas somewhere”.
Who would trade for that?

I just hope whoever we hire can fully own at least one side of the ball. If he’s an offense guy, I want him running the offense and calling the plays. If he’s a defense guy, I want him to run his defense fully. Tired of this CEO / delegate everything type of style. We haven’t had a head coach fully own one side of the ball since Saban.
No press conference today kinda shows you where things stand at the moment
Posted by Nature Boy on 10/27/25 at 7:16 pm
Seems like in the past, a huge move like this always warranted some kind of press conference within 24 hours, with a statement from the AD, top brass, etc. Not necessarily super informative or full of answers, but something. I fully expected some kind of media event called by LSU today, and it never happened. Just a short, written statement.
Makes me wonder who is really in charge at the moment, who is in control of the situation, who (officially) made the final call, where does the contract stand, etc.
I know there’s a lot of stuff in the air right now. This is just an observation. Interesting stuff.

Recruits don't commit to General Managers
Probably time to retire this kind of thinking and start re-defining terms.
“Commitments” and “Letters of Intent” were pretty much meaningless years ago and it has only gotten worse. Recruiting is simply not the same game as it once was. The word doesn’t even mean what it used to. This is a whole new system we’re seeing evolve in real time. It has destroyed all passion I used to have for college sports.
re: Firing Kelly now versus waiting a year...
Posted by Nature Boy on 10/25/25 at 10:49 pm to Chicken
Hard to see a path forward from a business standpoint, honestly. Which sucker donors will pony up another $18 mil to refill the NIL cupboard? Who will be the new QB? At the very least you need to fire and buy out the OC and pay big bucks for a new one. Who would want that job? How can CBK expect the bean counters to give him millions more to ‘rebuild’ again after this display? This was his all in, best shot season. I just don’t see a purpose in stretching it out longer than necessary. It’s clearly not happening with this guy. Strange position to be in.

This is where you are wrong. Congress didn’t pass shite into actual law during the first term, and it appears they won’t for this term either. It’s all executive orders that can be erased as soon as a new president comes in.
If you haven’t noticed the trend here, you are blind. The republicans don’t actually want to pass anything. They’re just waiting him out at usual. It’s pathetic.

What do we do with this guy? Starting to wonder what’s going on behind the scenes whether it’s issues with staff, diva stuff,
or injury. Kinda feels like one of those things that gonna come to a head publicly.
