Don’t forget “far right’.
Funny how you never hear the term ‘far left’ used in the media. Only ‘center left’ at worst, even for avowed socialists/communists.

Exactly. ‘Diverse’ means ‘not-white’. Doesn’t matter what race or ethnicity. Just not white. One of the the many distortions and whole cloth created new terns now recognized as part of the the English language. It’s disgusting.

That covers probably 85% of them.
There’s a reason Trump is attempting to rule by executive order. He’s never had the support of his own party, in this or the previous term, despite majorities in house and senate both times. They’re just waiting him out like last time, and they’re ashamed he got elected. It’s pathetic.

First game, tips for ticket buying
Posted by Nature Boy on 12/4/25 at 2:50 pm
I have zero interest in the NBA, but I was considering taking my nephew who loves it as a Christmas gift. I looked at Ticketmaster and if you go by their site all the decent to good Pels seats are sold out or only available using the ‘resale’ option, and the prices are astronomical.
All I hear is how they suck and the attendance is low, so what gives on the ticket situation? Any tips for landing higher end seats on a one off? Not picky on the opponent. I’ve gotta be missing something. TIA

Unfortunately unless they can make a law
Therein lies the problem.
There’s a reason this entire term (just like the last one) is almost 100% executive orders.
Our so called Republican House and Senate are not interested in passing (or repealing) any laws. Never have been.

Always with the hyphenated last names. When I see a hyphenated last name these days (which seems more and more common), I always make a lot of assumptions. And then when I look these people up to see if my assumptions were correct, so far I have a 100% success rate.

You already know the answer.
And probably won’t include women either.
So the same group will get it in the arse again.

What sucks is there’s probably a bunch of really good human beings on these teams that are just completely embarrassed about the actions of their teammates
You know I’ve always tended to think that way, and to a certain degree still do (or at least really want to) but the silence from these mythical ‘good human beings who are embarrassed’ is deafening in every aspect of that society. In fact, like this clown of a ‘leader’, it’s much more likely that instead all we hear are excuses and even endorsement of this kind of behavior.

That place is so ghetto. I don't care about race and it wasn't a problem, but me and the person with me were two of the four white people in there.. The kitchen had their music turned and could be heard over the house music and the staff was either black girls or gay black dudes.
Location and demographics make huge differences in service and quality at any chain restaurant.
I’ve had outstanding service and food quality at certain Popeyes, Chili’s, Outback, etc but it was 100% because of the quality of the labor pool. It makes all the difference.

They lie because whether or not their story is true, it will become fact in the minds of their constituents and the media, and therefore part of the narrative forever. It’s a great strategy. Why stop when it works 100% of the time?

I just hope whoever we hire can fully own at least one side of the ball. If he’s an offense guy, I want him running the offense and calling the plays. If he’s a defense guy, I want him to run his defense fully. Tired of this CEO / delegate everything type of style. We haven’t had a head coach fully own one side of the ball since Saban.
No press conference today kinda shows you where things stand at the moment
Posted by Nature Boy on 10/27/25 at 7:16 pm
Seems like in the past, a huge move like this always warranted some kind of press conference within 24 hours, with a statement from the AD, top brass, etc. Not necessarily super informative or full of answers, but something. I fully expected some kind of media event called by LSU today, and it never happened. Just a short, written statement.
Makes me wonder who is really in charge at the moment, who is in control of the situation, who (officially) made the final call, where does the contract stand, etc.
I know there’s a lot of stuff in the air right now. This is just an observation. Interesting stuff.

Recruits don't commit to General Managers
Probably time to retire this kind of thinking and start re-defining terms.
“Commitments” and “Letters of Intent” were pretty much meaningless years ago and it has only gotten worse. Recruiting is simply not the same game as it once was. The word doesn’t even mean what it used to. This is a whole new system we’re seeing evolve in real time. It has destroyed all passion I used to have for college sports.
