I just saw a report of 42 foot waves in the gulf. Not a record but mighty impressive

Substantial, yes, but nowhere near a record. Ivan had a verified 91ft tall by 600 yard long rogue wave with 130ft+ estimated in the eye wall.

Still amazes me.

It's turning pretty good now. It might come in right over Lake Chuck instead of between LC and the state line.

I'm scared for the remake. I just know they are going to frick up a classic.

It's SW LA. If this was headed for Terrebonne Bay or Barataria Bay we'd have a whole separate board set up for it.

Have there been any tornados stronger than an EF-1 in recent memory with hurricanes. I can't remember any of them being strong or lasting more than a short time.

I was awestruck when my submarine was 500' below the surface and getting tossed around by a Cat 4 hurricane near the Bahamas. We wound up going to below 800' before things smoothed out

They'd get more wind but less water. Pick your poison.

I just looked at the radar, and that is the exact thing I thought.
